so i finished reading escape velocity by existwound and let me just say i haven’t read a kl fic this good in a loooooong time. Literally BAWLED over this omfg. exes to lovers is one of my favorite tropes (what does that say abt me ?) and the fact that keith and lance are in their THIRTIES????? UGH. anyways my fav scenes were the ones in which they were still fucking despite being freshly broken up so i doodled a bit of angsty say gex which u can find below the cut. thank u @existwound this was such a wild ride you are an incredible writer 🙌🏻

Ok but there's so much potentional for fics about Lance stuck in space previously medicated for ADHD and in therapy (cuz his family loves him lol) but now left not only with none of that but also withdrawals and that crippling thing of knowing he's not reaching his peak ever because his disability is actually disabiling

And then imagine Coran manages to figure out an altean equivalent drug for him that helps Lance level out again. Suddenly he never misses a shot, concerningly accurate. He's actually quiet and not constantly running around the castle. The whole team thinks he's upset and unreadable meanwhile this is the best he's felt in weeks lmao only Hunk and Pidge are like "yeah this is his baseline actually"

The real nail in the head would be him suddenly being nicer to Keith which sends the whole castle for a loop for at least a week. Meanwhile Lance is just chilling thinking "wow Keith is way less annoying when my head actually shuts up for a while and I can focus on whats going on"
