Just wonderinâ how the proposal went [way back when]! [Which of you] asked ? and was there a [[Scenic Destination]] or some sort of [Specil Event] that inspired you?
@tvtimemailroom
Oh itâs been a while! Let me see if I canâŚ
I donât remember how it went!
I just remember I was the one that proposed.
We were⌠Aut was 18.
Vis was still 18, too!
We got married within the year!
The yearâs 2000.
Tenna stares at his drink, stirring it absentmindedly. In the background, Mono Swatch prepares something. Chrome Swatch greets Spamton at the door and walks him over.
âAh, Ema- sorry. Spamton! I thought you werenât gonna make it.â
Spamton laughs, brushing off the near deadnaming and smiles at his boyfriend- soon to be fiancĂŠ if tonight goes well.
âYeah, sorry about that!â
His hand twitches, heâs nervous. The Swatches would never fail him, theyâd been friends for far too long.
(WAOW.... Are you really THE Mr Tenna and Mr Spamton? You guys are so cool!! There's this pretty zapper girl I wanna get the interest of, but I don't know how to do it! Do you have any advice?)
( @teen-kogal-shadowgal )
Awe, thanks kiddo!
We are a version of them!
One thatâs been together for 27 years and married for 25! ^)
As for advice, just be honest with her!
If you know some things she likes, get them for her as a little gift!
OH WOW! We donât see a lot of universes like ours.
Assuming this one is like oursâŚ
Ah- I always get ahead on the assumptions ^)
How long have you and Tenna known each other?
@bigshot-n-primetime
Hey there!! Nice to finally meet another [[TV TIME!!]] pair who beat the [Horrors Beyond My Comprehension]!1! Itâs nice to know me and Tens ainât the only [Happy Ending] out there.
Hmm, as to how long weâve known each otherâŚ? Feels like⌠since âď¸foreverâď¸! Let me do the math.
I think itâs been a few [dance through the decades] at least. I was 18 when I started workinâ on the show for real, so itâd have to beâŚ
đźAlmost 30 years now!đź
And weâve also been married for 25 of those years!!! How romantic! đ
Yeah, we tied the knot after [I SURVIVED Y2K!!]!
Funny enough, it sounds like you guys followed a similar timeline, haha!
Why donât you find him and ask him yourself if this subject is of your concern.
Though, I do sympathize with your situation, so Iâll leave you with two simple questions to help you.
Doesnât Autos seem a bit off? After all, he has seemed a bitâŚone could say,âŚtangled up as of lateâŚright?
-đ¸đ
[OOC: THIS CONCLUDES THE AMP SAGA! Thanks for your patience while I wrote the finale!]
He has seemed a little strange as of lateâŚ
He called AD-isons âAddisonsâ the other day.
And heâs⌠been acting closed off- I didnât suspect anything because he acts like that sometimes!
Tangled up?
Iâll be back soon.
Tenna walked the halls silently, keeping himself focused. Spamtonâs office, thatâs what he needed to see. If anything was wrong, it would be there. He paused outside the door, debating if he should knock before he heard a laugh.
It was Spamtonâs, but it wasnât his Spamtonâs.
âOh Autos,â Spamtonâs voice, slightly deeper, smoother. Not his Spamtonâs. âYour dear Tenna has no idea whatâs going on! Your fear is adorable, you know you canât stop it.â
Tenna grimaced, but he felt the need to listen just a little longer. What good would he be if he jumped in too soon?
âIâm playing him like a fiddle and he has no clue, aha!â
âŚ
The door slammed open, Tennaâs screen flickering as he walked up to the two. His Spamton, glasses pushed taut against his eyes- and another, a maniacal grin on his face that left as he laid his eyes on the angry CRT.
âRelease him, now.â Tenna growled, using one hand to grab the unfamiliar Spamton and hold him up- watching as his wings flexed instinctively.
E squirmed in his grasp, staring up at him with a genuine fear in his eyes. Tennaâs screen went black, only showing a forced smile.
âOr I will pluck your wings one feather at a time, sending you back to your universe wishing you had never touched him.â
Tenna watched as E used his magic to loosen Autos from the wires, using his free hand to catch Autos with a sigh. He cradled his husband in one arm, squeezing the unfamiliar Spamton before letting him fall to the ground.
âYou will leave this universe, and you will never return,â Tenna ordered, flicking a star across the room to open a portal to Eâs home universe. âUnless you want to see what Iâm really capable of.â
E nodded, scurrying off like a scared rat- sealing the portal behind him. Now alone, Tenna held Autos close to his chest as the other shivered. Taking Spamtonâs glasses off and setting them on his desk, his screen finally flickering back to normal.
âIâm sorry.â
âFor what? You couldnât have stopped it, and I shouldâve known something was up.â
âFor everything- for not telling you how my glasses work, for not letting you know- he said he was gonna hurt you too.â
âI still donât know how your glasses work, and you donât have to tell me. Iâm just glad that youâre okay, Spam- or that you will be.â
âI feel horrible.â
âI know you do, and I get it- I would too if it had been me- but youâre safe now. I wonât let that happen again.â
Spamton smiled, a genuine smile for the first time in a long time. He was safe, his husband was safe, their daughter was fine. Eâs threats hadnât stuck, he hadnât managed to expose anything- but Spamton knew he had to tell them all eventually.
For now, though? He was content to rest against Tennaâs chest.
I know whatâs happening, E. What youâre doing to him.
Iâve been in your shoes, in a.. similar situation. This current path doesnât lead to anywhere beneficial. Youâll be left as empty as you were when you started with only a pyrrhic victory to your name. Let Autos go.
-One whoâs walked this path.
Oh, it appears youâve found me now too.
Now, why would I do that?
Perhaps you failed because you got too close to them, you cared too much. You went soft.
I may be you, but we are not the same.
So cryptic, arenât you?
You canât hurt me, youâd be hurting him too and we both know that.
Iâd like to see you even try what youâre planning. We both know that youâll fail.
âWell, the other me has found us out,â E hummed as he pulled at the wires heâd given Autos. âHe seems quite protective of you, Autos- I wonder whyâŚ?â
Autos twitched, his wings fluffing up in a defensive motion. He couldnât pull away and it hurt.
âWhy, for all those glasses can do,â E laughed as he twisted the wires, watching as Autos flinched in pain, âthey certainly didnât protect you from me.â
