Ohmygod this game is so interesting!!

The game's ending is interesting too... I guess we become the "will of Penny" at the end? I'm assuming this is during the game due to #heartbreak in the news feed (before Penny takes it from us)

We got that AI psychosis, but maybe she's real AI... Is Penny one of David's kids? I need to investigate further, because all I can say at the moment is that she obviously breaks her tenents.

I'm having a hard time focusing on the actual point of the game... In conclusion, I wish Penny controlled my mods and slowly edited my mind so all I could do is what she wants me to 🤤

i was looking at some splatoon 2 textures that diam extracted and found. well. ok so the clothing shop keeper Jelfonzo changes his shirt daily, and on Tuesdays, the design he changes into is this white and red shirt with inkling text on it. now, looking at this texture gets us a better look at the text on the shirt, and its in a decipherable script. (EDIT: i assumed the post was deleted, but @jacebeleren​ , the one who deciphered the script, reached out to me to say the post still exists, they had just changed URLs! i have updated the link so now you can all read about his deciphering process.) turns out the text on the shirt translates to…

“FUCK YOU”

happy 3rd year anniversary to the greatest splatoon discovery of all time<3

this shirt led to a debate-heavy policy change on inkipedia (the site has a NSFW toggle because of this), fans have recreated it irl and it’s made appearances at LANs and official events, i got interviewed for a polygon article and a thomas game docs video because of it, and in the end, it stayed in the game for splatoon 3.
