Niso Ramponi AKA Kremos
Citroën ID 19 Ambulance, 1960. A specialised version of the ID 19 Break, specifically engineered to leverage Citroën's revolutionary self-levelling hydropneumatic suspension for medical transport. The cabin featured a split-folding rear seat. The left side was permanently folded down to accommodate a full-sized stretcher, while the right side provided seating for medical personnel. Citroën offered a standard ambulance version in its catalogue starting in 1960; specialised coachbuilders also modified these vehicles.

Citroën DS Plateau
What else happened in 1970? Citroën SM, March 11. Launched at the Geneva Motor Show, the SM went on sale in France in September 1970. Development had begun in 1961 under the codename "Project S," intended as a high-performance variant of the Citroën DS. Following Citroën's purchase of Maserati in 1968, the project evolved to include a Maserati-developed V6 engine, turning the SM into a true "Gran Turismo". A total of 12,920 units were manufactured before the model was discontinued in 1975 following the 1973 oil crisis and Citroën's subsequent takeover by Peugeot.
