Map of Eos Update: 4/19/26

The Duscae region is officially done! Now moving on to the Cleign region, spesifically around Lestallum.

Had to take a small break for a week or two, but its getting there slowly.

Some fun notes: the taelpar craige area actually has a visible canyon where Gladio's DLC happens. The elevation here gave me tons of trouble. The elevation betwesn the west side if the craige and the duscae region is crazy. East Lucis is easily lower than all of the cleign region.

The making of.

This is an official line up of the clones from my ffxv fic "Not Just A feeling" In which Ardyn ends up adopting Prompto, and eight other clones. If you want to more look under the break. It might as well be a whole AU in itself.

So the story that follows this picture is that humanity all but died during the ten years of darkness. Which Ardyn decided he was not okay with, for various reasons. So before Noct could finish him off for good, he reset the time line.

Planning to have Noctis kill him like was originally planned, Ardyn did not change things much in the first few years.

But then his plans hut a road block when the spies who originally took Prompto to Insomnia; took the wrong clone. Meaning that Prompto becoming Noctis' friend was just a sheer chance. But also meaning that Prompto was fated to spend his life as a tube vegetable unless something changed.

So Ardyn panics. And in his panic accidentally opens up all 10 clone tubes instead of just one. Which means Verstael Besthda walks into his lab onto find Ardyn with nine babies all crying and unhappy. Him trying to hold and sooth them all while clearly upset himself.

"You know there is a simpler way to start a family."

"I did not mean too- i don't know how to put them back."

"You can't." The mad scientist points out, and they stare at each other.

Needless to say it is on this day that they both learn that despite both being Bad Guys- they are uncomfortable killing nine defenseless babies. Which ends in them adopting and raising nine clones.

Verstael experiments on them of course, and Ardyn is the litteral boogeyman. Neither of them get #1 dad mugs. But they get the 'not as bad as it could have been award'.

Each of the clones grow up to be their own flavor of mad scientist. With Verstael justifying their sudden existence as him wanting to make a think tank of scientists.

I actually wrote the events discussed above into a short story. Which you can find. HERE. Titled "What you Cant Take Back" it is a prequel to my main AU "Not Just A Feeling".

Taelpar Craig: Northern End

The northern end of the Taelpar Crag opens up into the 'Lucinia Sound' a sea North of the main continent. There are rocks which keep the majority of the ocean back it seems. A bridge spans over the small upper canyon, which leads into Lestallum. The valley at the bottom is green, with grass.

Taelpar Crag: South End

The Taelpar Crag extends North South across the Lucian Continent, Starting North of Lestallum, past the large City, and terminating just near Cape Caem. Which you can see in the background of these shots. If you go inside the canyon itself there is a small cave between some boulders you can walk through, but these ultimatley keep the ocean back from spilling into the Canyon. There is a small bridge which goes over the gap, which acts an entrance into the Light House's Cape.
