Glad to say I have power again after the drama that happened in Texas this past week. Luckily I wasn’t impacted greatly like others and we didn’t have any pipe bursts. We still had access to water and we have a gas powered stove not an electric once so eating wasn’t a problem either. The hardest thing was not being able to talk to my boyfriend who lives in Florida as often as I usually do throughout those three days. We usually sleep together on FaceTime and not being able to was hard but we still talked in the moments the power came back on. I’m so grateful that things have gone to normal but I’m still furious about how this even happened and how Ted Cruz went to fucking Cancun during this.
