I just discovered a new weight loss program. I've lost 10 pounds in two weeks. The program is called: "RHR" - I have to be honest, it's not for everybody but if you do happen to get a "Right Hip Replaced, this could be one of the undiscovered benefits. It has been exactly 2 weeks today since I had my hip replacement surgery. It is amazing how slow time goes when you're on pain meds, sleeping and doing physical therapy. It's difficult when you have a fast-paced life style and to virtually stop do nothing. I've had too much free time so I blinged out my walker. I have to say an extra special thank you to Billie Jo for coming down for 2 weeks from San Francisco to take care of me for the pre-and post operative caregiving. I could not have done it without her. I am trying to figure out how for the next couple of weeks I'm going get along just with daily activities. I also want to say a special thank you to all of my friends and family that sent so many positive thoughts and well wishes for my speedy recovery. My physical therapist Bridget said today that for two weeks I am doing outstanding. That is comforting to know. I am going to just keep doing the physical therapy and going slow around the house while I heal. All is good in the proverbial hood. (at Redondo Beach, California)
