Billy Pisanout Noy graduated from Iowa State in 2019 and Des Moines Area Community College in 2016 as a first-generation college student. Located in Des Moines, Iowa, Billy Pisanout Noy is a hard-worker with a passion for making positive change in the world by being involved in The Borgen Project, AmeriCorps, and in activism such as the Sunrise Movement. He has been an ardent supporter of politicians who support the Green New Deal and wants a better planet for his generation which is millennials and every generation after his. Billy Pisanout Noy also served for 3 months in AmeriCorps NCCC FEMA Corps. He is focusing on building up his skills in content creation by being active on Quora and answering questions and asking questions about current events, society, or anything that stumps him. Billy Pisanout Noy first developed an interest in writing ever since he was in elementary school. A highly scored story he wrote in 3rd grade was a fantasy story about a hero that could time travel and was able to fly in the clouds and use lightning. He mostly drew inspiration from different video games he played at that time in his life such as The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker on the Nintendo GameCube. During high school he was passionate in his English and World Literature classes, writing essays, and being an active participant. Seeing the music video of Empire State of Mind by Jay - Z on MTV before heading out to school in 8th grade. Hearing "Hey there Delihah" by Plain White T's on the radio. Spending hours playing the video game infamous on the PS3. Watching the US Open on TV. The diversity, culture, food, people to meet, sheer amount of things to do and see, etc. there is something for everyone here.
