sorry for not posting much guys :( i just landed a full time RN position in another city, so i’ve been dealing with a lot of stress regarding housing and getting everything else sorted.

Update on clean UI

So I found out that I don’t have to close sims 3 in order to change any resource. The game will update them automatically. This applies to UI LAYOUT and GRAPHICS too… which means I can always have game open, and test my edits and replacements. Funny how sims 3 allows change of lighting, clouds, sun, moon, water color, weather… but also change of models, textures, effects and UI in real time, without the need of closing the game. I suspect this also applies to scripting… but to not get ahead of myself, what does this mean for my clean UI project? It means that I’ll work way, WAY faster! I have plans of starting a patreon page as well as discord server for this and few other projects. This will give me motivation to finish these projects quicker, as well as give others insight into my progress. However I don’t plan to paywall the content. Everything will be released for free after two weeks of being posted to patreon. I also don’t mind use of other sites to get ‘paywall’ content for free if you can’t, or don’t want to pay for pre-releases. First module of UI will be released mid or end of the fall of this year and will include: - base game live mode UI (with some EP additions) - build mode UI - buy mode UI Currently working on… buy mode:
