To put it bluntly, the only way to end homelessness is to house people or kill them.
That's it. Those are your options. Homelessness doesn't go away based on "crime crackdowns." You will imprison the unhoused, and when they are free, they will be unhoused again. Or they will die in prison.
When you burn encampments or force people out without their stuff, they remain unhoused or freeze to death.
After working with the unhoused, it's become abundantly clear that those who don't want to support them instead want them dead.
There is blood on the hands of every government and organization that controls the homeless population with force instead of compassion.
Do you ever just have those specific video games that just starting them up and hearing that intro music and you just feel like youâre home.

In the short term, this is not as dangerous as an outright ban on estrogen. If implemented and then combined with other methods of suppressi
Unlike the vast majority of anti-trans legislation, hate groups are attempting to pass these restrictions without the public at large knowing they exist. This secrecy is far more insidious, and needs to be immediately addressed.
If you want to help, the two things that will make the most impact are SPREADING AWARENESS, and participating in PUBLIC COMMENT while it is still open.

Document: FDA-2025-P-7321
As of the time this article was written, ALL public comments were from hate groups in support of this registry. Every single comment in opposition will help.
Disclaimer: This article is very guilty of intersex erasure, despite the fact that intersex people of all ages would be affected by these regulations the same way trans women are. However, as this is the most comprehensive and direct article currently available, it should still be widely distributed, for the sake of trans women, nonbinary people, and intersex people who will all be affected should it pass.
I did my comment, and you should to! Be advised that when making a comment like this on a proposed regulation, the depth of your statement does matter. I strongly encourage you to take the time to read this article to get informed on what this proposal entails, and write a detailed response concerning one or two aspects that you believe you can write cohesively about and prepare a sensible counter-argument; try to draw from other sources if you can, even if you're just quoting other articles in support and in defense of HRT and transfeminism. I encourage everyone to review this official list of what they're expecting from a quality comment.
Remember, all public comments may have been from this hate campaign at the time of posting, but it was only 60. I know plenty of Discord servers bigger than that, let's show that we outnumber this hate and that we're gonna outlive this nightmare.
I am an attorney who tracks regulation for a living. That the FDA is being so secretive about this is HIGHLY unusual.
As my followers may know, I usually don't recommend submitting "I don't like this" comments on proposed rules. However, in this case, I think its worth it to generate a robust public record opposing this shit. The tips on how to draft more in-depth comments are excellent, and I would encourage submitting substantive comments if you can - particularly if you are a medical expert or have some other kind of relevant expertise. However, if an "I don't like this" comment is all you're able to submit (no judgment btw, submitting a substantive comment is not easy), do it. I'm not convinced that we'll change FDA's mind here, but we can create an overwhelming public record which could be useful for any future legal challenges.

Her goals, once so clear, start to become muddled as a new and unknown fear grips her mind. While she struggles to maintain a delicate balance of secrecy and truth around Samara, the passion in her heart complicates the matter.

Excerpt:
Benezia circled the geth like a huntress closing in on dangerous prey, but it showed no signs that it conceded to any such contest. She could sense its vigilance, the cloud of soft static created by the power coursing through its cables, the winding up of trigger hair servos at its joints. It was anything but inert, yet its posture was indefensive and curious. It reminded her of a child. "You understand your orders?" she asked it, putting on the authoritative voice she used to address crowds and politicians. "You understand that I speak with your master's voice and you will follow my commands as you follow Saren's?" The geth clicked and whirred, the aperture of its face widening, and made no other intelligible gesture. Benezia's jaw hardened in frustration. Saren had sent this to her, along with the other crates of armaments her retinue was currently unloading in the low-ceilinged hangar, for protection. This is the shape of things to come, he had said before she departed his flagship, and she had known better than to provoke his ire with questions. "What am I meant to do with you?" she whispered now. The geth merely stood there. "Very well, let us see. The human in the corner: shoot him." The geth turned quickly, sparing no time to look for the target, and reached for the rifle attached to its leg. In the corner, slumped against a stack of crates, a dirty and exhausted human man screamed and kicked his legs against the stone floor. His mouth was gagged and his hands bound, and all he managed were muffled chokes and pitiful scrambling. "Stop," Benezia ordered as the geth drew its weapon toward the man's wide and terrified eyes. It was quick to obey, holding position without so much as a quiver. Such a strange thing, she thought as she searched its posture for some hint of thought or feeling. She wanted so badly to dig into its thoughts, press the full power of mind against its drab imitation of the great neural tapestry of life. If it had been organic, she could plunder her way through its memoriesâas a first or last resort, depending on its disposition toward herâyet what faced her now was an unreachable mind, and it filled her with apprehension. She had seen the squadron of geth working in concert earlier when they attacked the human's ship. She observed their tactics and their precision and knew them to be intelligent, and it was that fact which frustrated her to the point of silent rage. The geth were beyond mere imitation, they were life itself; a consciousness so simple that it could be designed by organic hands, yet she could not submit it to her power.

The Emotion Chip proves that Data always had emotions
And all it did was make them more neurotypical.
I have thoughts. Hear me out: I think what the emotion chip storyline in the TNG movies actually shows is not that Data didnât have emotions before, but that he did have them all along. What the chip really changes is the way he experiences them.
I know itâs already a popular theory in the fandom that Data always had emotions. What I want to talk about, though, is the way he might have experienced them before the chipâbecause it reminds me a lot of how some autistic people experience emotions.
As an autistic person myself, I often notice emotions mainly in a cognitive way. That means they donât always appear as a sudden feeling. Instead, I analyze a situation, come to conclusions, and think something like: âThat probably makes me sad.â The emotion is there, but it doesnât necessarily arrive as an immediate, impulsive feeling. It has to be processed first.
This reminds me a lot of how Data talks about his own inner states. Before the chip, he constantly explains things in terms of preferences, interests, or logical decisions. He analyzes his reactions instead of describing them as emotions. In other words, he rationalizes them.
Much like some autistic people do.
With the emotion chip, his experience suddenly becomes more neurotypical: the emotions just appear. They are immediate, overwhelming, and sometimes difficult for him to regulate.
When watching Generations, I was reminded of a psychological idea that emotions often come before preferences and actions. So when Data sings the life-form song, the chip didnât suddenly create a new preference. Instead, it might have made him aware of something that was already there.
Before the chip, he already chooses to scan for life-forms. He already prioritizes it over other activities. Thatâs clearly a preference. But he would describe it as curiosity or interestânot as joy.
The chip doesnât tell him: âBy the way, you dislike this drink now.â
It tells him: âThe reaction you just experienced? Thatâs called disgust.â
As an autistic psychologist, what I see in Data often looks a lot like alexithymiaâhaving emotional processes but struggling to identify or label them as emotions. He has cognitive access to his internal states, but he interprets them through logic instead of recognizing them as feelings.
So my interpretation is this: Data always had emotional processes. The emotion chip didnât give him emotionsâit made those emotions immediate, intense, and recognizable.
Anyway, I just felt the urge to share that thought. I donât know. Just something Iâve been thinking about.
My emotions about space travel, and the history of, are strong today.

While we're looking up at the Artemis II astronauts journeying to the Moon, they're looking back home at us.Â
In this image, Earth peeks through the capsule window, reminding us that a view like this relies on the ingenuity and hard work of countless people back home.
In the second image, we see our home planet as a whole, lit up in spectacular blues and browns. A green aurora even lights up the atmosphere.
