We are SUPPOSED to use torque sticks when we bolt on wheels, but, well, you know...We're trusted experts. Relax.
Rate this customer's new drift setup. It could maybe use a bit more camber...
Facts
Don't be square, but new tires BEFORE your current ones become dangerous. I wonder if this guy felt a vibration issue while driving...
Beware the dreaded re-tread. Honestly, drawing new tread with a marker is just as safe and cheaper, but you should buy new tires anyway, or at least used ones (inspect them before installation). Re-treaded tires are HIGHLY prone to catastrophic failure. Don't buy them. We will not service them.

Duct Tape is amazing stuff, especially when combined with JB Weld. That said, as much as we love creative and janky solutions at our shops, never do this to your tires. Tires are the only part of the car that come into contact with the road (ideally) and thus are the most important part of the whole vehicle. Don't f*ck around with your tires, for your safety and the safety of those around you.
So this came into one of our shops a while ago...Yeah, someone actually did this thinking it was a good idea. Please don't do this. If your tire isn't road-worthy then don't take it out on the road, for your own safety and that of all the other families on the road. Don't be stupid, be safe.
Stab it with a flex-knife!
And THIS is why we aren't allowed to have proper lifts...
Be careful when airing up a previously-flat tire, because that sidewall may not be safe anymore. But hey, if this happens to you and you have Lifetime Road Hazard Certificates on your tires, then you'll get a free replacement! Wow!
