For those who don't know me, my name's Asantewa. I'm a 28 year old graduate student (finally) nearing the end of their studies. I live with chronic illness and disability and have taken steps to apply for government support. It could be up to 3 months before I hear back. I have run out of financial aid and am presently unemployed, though I am actively searching and applying. Over the past two years, you have been our family, the people who stood by us during the war, bombing, destruction, displacement, hunger, sickness, fear, and uncertainty. You were there when everything around us was collapsing, and your humanity surrounded us like warmth in the coldest moments of our lives.
I also know that you have patiently endured my frequent posts and tags, and have repeatedly shared my posts and encouraged your followers to donate and help my family over these two years. I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused, but we had no other path except to keep reaching out to you. Please accept my apologies and those of my entire family.
These were two years of explosions and gunfire, of constant bombing and death following us wherever we went. Two years in which we saw houses collapse on their owners, bodies pulled from under the rubble, and streets turned into ruins. We lost friends, neighbors, and relatives, and parted with loved ones we could not even say goodbye to. It was grief that left no time to breathe, a wound that reopened every single day.
Life after death became even harsher. Tents under burning sun, freezing cold, and rain soaking our beds. Nights of hunger and sickness. Empty markets and unbearable prices. Medicines we could not find. A life without stability, work, or income, while my father’s illness weighed heavier on us.
And yet, despite everything, you never left us alone. Some of you supported us financially, some kept sharing my campaign again and again, and some sent messages just to say: "We are thinking of you. Stay strong." Every message, every repost, every donation carried a piece of hope that helped us continue.
You were not just followers. You were family. People who chose compassion over indifference, love over silence, and humanity despite the distance. Your kindness eased the weight of every harsh stage we went through, and we carry your names in our prayers every single day.

hi if you have anything to spare please donate anything at all to my friends. i'm worried literally sick about them. they're being thrown around gaza from evacuation order to the next to the next and moving and getting tents is costing them too much to have enough leftover for food, medicine, and other necessities.
it keeps getting worse and it's probably the worst now than it's ever been. anas is a cancer patient. samir is in risk of amputation. mahmoud can't afford to evacuate. nesma is bereaved from the killing of her brother and she's taking care of her injured sister now.
We are behind on the weekly goal of USD $2,100, which was due yesterday. We only need $116 to meet it (queued), and we need to get there asap.
If we are there, the next goal is $2,800 by Dec 9.
I want to get this campaign to the short-term goal of $3,500 sooner rather than later. The longer we stall, the more funds are used for other survival needs rather than the tent.

That is why despite the almost 14k notes, I decided to make another post/an update if you may because we are beyond desperate and we have not received any help as of lately.
My older sister's health has declined drastically since last week of December that is why I took over this account as per her request. We don't want to resort to asking for monetary assistance online but we still don't have the funds to get her through. As I have mentioned above, you can look into this account's pinned post to see how deformed her right hand was (if you needed the not blurred one, please let me know because I cannot possibly upload the actual picture because her account might end up getting taken down).
The entirety of her right arm is not only swollen, but blood kept seeping out of her knuckles, her palm, and her elbow. Protruding tumors/swelling have reached both of her breast, too, and is affecting her shoulder/shoulder blades and even her spine. Please reach out to me if you want to see more proof/health updates because I cannot post the photos here for they are somewhat too graphic. There's a lot of blood loss.
And although her arm was recently amputated, she is still under critical care and is currently battling numerous health complications.

In the midst of the hell that Gaza is enduring under relentless bombardment with every kind of weapon, where families are trapped in a tiny strip of land without proper shelters, services, or safety, while the world’s official silence continues and the U.S. stands alone in its unwavering support of this genocide, there are still people who deserve respect and admiration.
Today, more than 50 ships are sailing together in the Mediterranean as part of the Global Sumud Flotilla, carrying a message of hope, life, and solidarity to the Palestinian people who are facing death every moment. These ships remind the world that Gaza is not alone.
And to you who are reading this: we call on you to stand with Palestinian families. The conditions they are enduring are beyond cruel living under fire, displacement, and deprivation.
My own family is among them. After being forced to flee from northern Gaza, we are now without a home, and even without clean water. Our lives were destroyed there, and today we survive only with your solidarity and support.
