Jalec Prompt Challenge - BINGO 2022!

This is a prompt bingo open to Jalec, Jalec+, Malace and Jagnus writers and creators. Please read the rules and guidelines below before signing up via the Google form linked here.

Rules and Guidelines

You must be 18+ to participate.

This event runs from now until September 30 2022.

Allowed ships: Jalec, Jagnus, Malace, Jalec+

Fic, art, moodboards, playlists, graphics, fanvids and gifsets are all accepted.

Each card is a 3x3 square (8 prompts plus a FREE SPACE).

You can request a NSFW card which only includes smutty prompts, a SFW card without smut, or a MIXED card which includes both.

Yes you can write one multichapter fic with one prompt per chapter, and therefore multiple prompts across the whole story.

One prompt only per chapter or per oneshot!

You can request to replace squares on your card, and you can request a completely new card.

If you have completed one card, you can get another one.

As you complete achievements, you can apply for a badge to celebrate. For details, see below.

No kink or ship shaming of any kind will be tolerated during this event. The collection is being moderated.

We'd like to reward you for your efforts! As you complete achievements, you can apply for badges you can share on your socials for:

Participant (1-2 fills)

Parabatai (3 or more fills with no Bingo or Blackout)

Bingo Winner (3 fills in a row, any direction)

To be eligible for a badge:

Mark each prompt you fill off on your card as you complete it.

Upload each of your prompt fills to the collection as you go.

Send us a pic of your card with your fills marked off. We will double-check against the works you have uploaded.

You can upgrade badges if you complete an achievement before the end of the event but decide to go for something more by the time the event concludes.

This an aesthetic I made for a Jalec Christmas AU. Alec is the first-born heir to Lightwood Industries. He damages the company’s reputation when he leaves Lydia at the alter and publicly comes out. His parents send Alec to a charming town, Snowflake Falls, to sell Christmas trees and earn good press after the scandal. 

In town Alec crosses path with Jace, his first love, who is working at a coffee shop. They haven’t seen each other in 5 years since Alec walked away, breaking both of their hearts. Being stuck in Snowflake Falls gives Alec an unexpected opportunity to earn Jace’s forgiveness...and his heart, again.

Jalec Secret Santa 2021

Hey y'all! Unfortunately we’ve all been busy with RL and tbh we weren’t sure that people would still be interested in a Secret Santa this year. Shirasade is the one who organized our previous ones, but couldn’t do this one.

We were thinking about it for a while, now that we have a bit of time and if there’s still interest, we’d be more than happy to organize it. We know the timeline will be very tight, but we’re willing to try. Like our motto says: We’re Tiny but Mighty! And a small amount of content is better than none, right?

That being said, the timeline would look like this: Sign-ups: December 5. Assignments: December 6. Check-in: December 15. Posting: December 24.
