Genuinely, how are we supposed to take Rhaenyra seriously as a Queen if even her kids don't? Her son locks her in a room and flies off to battle without fear of consequences and his cousin-stepsister-fiance follows suit which leads to said son getting killed by his other cousin-stepsister. The whole plot with Sheepstealer only exists because Rhaena DISOBEYED Rhaenyra without fear of consequence. Rhaenyra emphasised how important it is for Rhaena to look after the kids as well as the eggs and Rhaena decided to just abandon them all and do whatever she likes. She was given an important task/mission and she just didn't do it as if she wasn't ordered by the QUEEN to do it. If she respected Rhaenyra as Queen, it wouldn't have mattered what Rhaena thought she could be doing instead. She would have followed her Queen's ORDER without question. This show prioritises drama over building up their own main character. And worst of all this drama was solved in 5 minutes with no payoff.
