#idk anything about mixing but it sounds like those videos where a drummer plays their cover over the original song #so it's really prominent with a different sound quality #except it's a different instrument for each song and sometimes it's will or ethan's singing #and then the weird censoring of swear words??

the Goodnight, and Have a Pleasant Tomorrow 20th anniversary celebrations have died down, these are already out there in one form or another but if you haven't heard them, here's some demos from the album, these are mostly just Mike getting these tracks down with guitar in like 2005. Idk I know I'm the specific stuff knower guy but there are limits

vocal range as tested today (16/05/2026): A2 (at a PUSH) - E6 (also at a push)

#v much squeezing out that E6 but i've been pushing the lower end and my throat hurts so could probs go higher if i'd done this more safely #i remember C3 being difficult as hell but now Bb2 is pushing it so that's progress (not that i have been trying)#my point of reference is the last line of the A team by ed sheeran (sorry) bc i couldn't hit it at age 12 #now i can just about breathe it out very quietly (and it isn't comprehensible as a word) but if i try to push it any louder it goes sharp #. i hope my neighbours cant hear me practising weird grunts and sounds when im just hashtag voice training
