So much ‘discourse’ and drama on this site only happens because way too many of y’all believe that y’all are the ONLY authorities on a situation or topic and refuse to consider that you might be wrong.

A lot of y’all also believe you are entitled to other folks’ personal business, like their gender identity or financial status. These things don’t involve YOU, so why are you bothering other folks about these things?

Defending fictional characters does not help real children. Fictional characters cannot be hurt, they are fake and nothing you do to them will matter.  Real children are entirely different. Real children can be hurt, their trust can be violated, and watering down ‘pedophilia’ to mean ‘fictional things/ships I don’t like’ is legitimately harmful. Real people deserve better. Nike to release “Pro Hijab” for Muslim women in spring 2018

On the heels of its campaign ad featuring Muslim athletes, Nike is taking a stand against discrimination. 

The athletic wear company announced the release of the “pro hijab,” Al Arabiya English reported on Monday.

“The Nike Pro Hijab may have been more than a year in the making, but its impetus can be traced much further back, to an ongoing cultural shift that has seen more women than ever embracing sport,” a statement from Nike said, according to Al Arabiya English.
