A controversial theory: Worm on a string are furby larvae
For years I thought the whole, “queer girls will admit to being dtf and never do anything about it” stereotype was false, but for two years my friends and I have been admitting that we want to make out with each other and nothing has happened
*wearing a t shirt that reads “i am not immune to evil mens tits”*
ya’ll i am fucking sobbing at these photos of a horse catching a frisbee
valid to eat frisbees
I try not to have too much disc horse on my dash, but I guess this is ok.
okay u can make fun of Shrek all you want but if u don’t think they were the most beautiful fucking movies ever then ur wrong
“gay villains are a dangerous trope”
please don’t forget that writing styles are subjective! what speaks to one person might not to someone else: we all have different tastes. maybe one style of writing is popular on tumblr and gets lots of notes. that’s great for those writers, but the world needs different voices. be that voice.
shhhhh, the council is meeting..
^^ AMEN
My boyfriend said Garfield isn’t cute so this was my rebuttal.
hi i'm sorry but your post about being the racist in your own life made me question something: are you not supposed to call a headscarf a hijab? are there other terms that would actually be correct but have been trampled over by white western people?
there are multiple uhh different kinds of headscarves and modesty coverings. usually people refer to all the kinds as “hijab” kinda like a catchall, but that’s incorrect.
here’s some images. it’s just tiring to see them all called hijabs. only one of them is a hijab.
oh my fucking god
so i’m reading this harry potter fic
and every now and then there are words like “arseented” and “marseaging” and “arseistance” and i was trying to figure out what the hell is going on
finally i got to the word “parse” and figured it out
they’re american so after they wrote it they did a find and replace to change every “ass” to “arse”
i can’t stop laughing omg
“Word has made 436 replacements.”
“That sounds right.”

can avatars identify each other by sight? bc when Jon is meeting other avatars, they always Immediately identify him as the Archivist, so either Jon is the most obvious Eye avatar on the planet or avatars inherently give off Vibes that other avatars pick up on, and I really hope it’s the second one because I think it would be really funny if like. a Vast avatar and a Buried avatar end up at the same construction site because one of them is planning to push someone off a crane and the other is planning to bury someone in concrete, and they just make eye contact across the construction site like
Choose your fighter
Um I’m choosing the second one bc Perry the Platypus is a skilled fighter and the other one is??? Some platypus with a beard???
oh to be a kid in front of a bin of multi coloured rocks in an obscure gift shop
Our apologies
ann m martin, the author of the books, is an out lesbian. many of the writers and directors involved with the netflix series are black, asian, and latin women. they did their homework, cast a young trans girl to play a young trans girl, and included multiple gay children and gay parents. mary anne and dawn are both played by actresses of colour.
AND the series is smart and funny and very watchable for all ages—i tend to not really watch new shows aimed at a younger audience, but i watched all of season 1 in one day. it’s rated at 100% on rotten tomatoes right now, and that rating is well deserved.
