The fact that the President of the United States is denying the voting process and attempting to undermine our Democratic right to choose our leader is irresponsible, reckless, and terrifying.

I am hoping that our system will do what is right, and it seems they are as multiple lawsuits to different states have already been dismissed and Joe Biden has been projected as the President-Elect. That faith in our democracy is so important right now because it could end very easily if we doubt it.

Republican lawsuits in the 2020 Election don’t amount to much. But the future of election law under a new US Supreme Court is a different story.

When people distrust our system, our democracy is at risk.

It is a leader’s job to calm their people and encourage them to have faith in their political system. Not to incite violence and encourage distrust of the system.

I know tensions are high right now with Trump declaring a premature victory before all the ballots are counted. I know that people are living in fear while Trump demands for recounts and attempts to get states to stop counting ballots in his favor. Please remember that we have procedures in place for this kind of thing. Please have faith in our system, even if it has failed so many already.

During this election, I urge everyone to do your fact checking. Fact check multiple websites that lean both ways politically to make sure that you know exactly what and who you’re voting for.

See this is where I disagree. I’m not really sorry about it either, but there are gay and straight allies. My parents celebrate pride because my sister and I are both part of the LGBTQ community. I have plenty of friends that are allies because they know so many people apart of the community. Separating like that is basically the same thing as them separating us from their “straight” events.

first, my kid would not sign anything without me seeing it first. 2nd, upon seeing it i would be at the superintendant’s office the next morning. then we would speak to the teacher. black folk gotta nip it in the bud.

Dont let your children be controlled like this. I remember back when I was in school my mom always told me “if you really need to use the bathroom or attend to an emergency and the teacher won’t let you, then just leave the classroom and I’ll deal with teacher and principle”
