I’m a friend of the person you’re calling “garage girl,” and I want to clear up some misinformation because this has gone way beyond reasonable criticism.
She had tickets to the AFI premiere that night and Friday night. She went with a friend.
They happened to see Sebastian and Annabelle arrive because they were literally at the same venue — just like hundreds of other attendees did.
She asked for a picture outside the venue before they walked in.
Later, she saw them again while waiting for valet when she was leaving.
That’s all. There was no following, no planning, no “stunt.”
She took her posts down because strangers were leaving invasive comments, and she has photos of her child on her page. She didn’t want any negativity about her kid, which is a very normal boundary.
A while later, she met Alex at a completely unrelated event.
They genuinely connected. They’ve been friendly since. Nothing about that is weird — LA is full of creatives and artists who meet and click. Not everything is a conspiracy.
She isn’t obsessed with Sebastian or Annabelle.
She’s not part of their world, not trying to be, and she isn’t doing anything to “insert” herself. She’s a regular person who had a nice interaction with people she admired and then lived her life.
What is weird is how nasty and personal this has gotten.
You’re talking about a stranger on the internet as if she’s a threat or a character in some drama you’ve invented. She’s done absolutely nothing to any of you.
Please stop twisting a normal human interaction into something dark.
It’s unfair, and honestly, it’s crossing lines.
