Random Yautja Headcanons Pt.2:

Thank you all for the love on the first on🩷. I decided to storm up a few more & continue from the first ones.

Now we know that they are scared of wigs, but we haven’t discussed the first time you took yours off. He’d be MORTIFIED seeing you “rip” out your own hair. Instantly thinks you’ve finally snap after he covered your house/ shared space in blood again. You’d have to tell him that it’s not yours & you do still IN FACT have hair. Oh, his poor heart… He’d be so suspicious of you for a while.

It’d be the same thing for false eyelashes as well, Why are you maiming yourself ooman?

When he gets a chance, he’d love to play with your hair. He’d be very curious if you have 4 type hair, definitely would ask you lots of questions. Why is your hair defying gravity? Why is it curly? What does curly mean? How do you “tame” it? Does it hurt? Their sense of “hair” is different from ours so He’d be hesitant at first.

They LOVEEEE braids & locs (in general). They like the repeating patterns of your braids & the different styles you could get them in. A sucker for designs too, & how neat it looks. Now Locs… Are you begging to get mated? They’d love the look because it’s similar to Their own “hair”. Constantly admiring how beautiful you look.

There’d probably be some young bloods & blooded hunters that’d draw inspiration from your hair. Especially for helmet designs.

They don’t understand the concept of being Ticklish. Why are you suddenly laughing? He only brushed your side. When you somewhat explain it, they’d still be confused. It’s a strange defense mechanism. Now depending on your mate, some might even purposefully tickle you to weaken you. Especially during mating, which unintentionally granted them a kick to the face…ouch. It definitely caught him off guard…. “What was that?…. Do it again.”

Yautjas are bred to be fierce, skilled hunters that serve cunt occasionally in their fishnets. Being relaxed or comfortable is a privileged luxury, it has to be earned through years of hard work & hunts.

With that being said, they are huge snorers. With the anatomy’s they have, it just makes sense. Now this isn’t something they just do however, it’s more of a trust thing. The longer you guys are together, the more comfortable they’d start to get. They have years of beaten restraint in them, Especially for hunts & a strict society. So when they finally let loose it’s… weird. The first time he did it made you leap out of bed. It’s the equivalent to a deep guttural tiger growl lol. ifykyk

They’d really be into white beaters i feel. It shows off his sexy muscles, & is lightweight. Well that’s until he slobbers all over it. I do they they’d slobber sometimes, however it’s more of an individual thing kinda.

TWERKING. He’d be mind BLOWN seeing the way your ass jiggles & ripples. At first he thought you were doing one of your weird ooman “rituals,” but as he further watches he’s mesmerized. “More.” He’d love to see you tease him with it, especially when he playfully hunts you.

One day you were in your room having a concert with your headphones blasting in your ear (Listening to Megan thee Stallion or wte you like). Him, cloaked, had gotten into the room earlier (idk) & decided to watch you for a bit of entertainment. He found it amusing until you bend over & beginning THROWING STRAIGHT ASS. He was so distracted that he uncloaked by accident. Leaving you embarrassing & shocked. This will definitely turn into a “do that thing i like” kind of situation lol

Random Yautja Headcanons 💖:

I loveeee the thought of waking up in the morning beside my elder mate until reality sets in. I forgot to where my bonnet last night & it didn’t even cross my mind.

For my fellow black baddies & curly head girlies it’s either a complete disaster or a lucky accident. Your mate’s claws would DEFINITELY get caught in your hair more times than you’d like them to. The feeling of snuggling up against their warm body is amazing, however the wake up is horrible. They’d feel bad, but you’ll never forget to cover your hair again.

I’m a firm believer that they’d probably treat you like a pampered pet sometimes. Not out of disrespect, but just simply because it’ll take them a WHILE to learn affection. Also due to the size difference & not wanting to hurt you. So expect lots of cute necklaces, bracelets, covers, head pats, cuddles, etc.

I bruise & wound easily, so I can only imagine the scratches & cuts on your legs or body throughout the night (Coming from someone who has weirdly sharp nails & sleeps wild). It’s not on purpose at all, but you knew what you signed up for lol.

They LOVE Bonnets. (I will DIE on that hill) At first they’d be confused at seeing you where a “muffin hat” to bed until you explain it protects your hair. I their “locs” are highly sensitive, so he’d secretly love that the bonnet covers them. He definitely wore his pink satin bonnet on a hunt or two

They would definitely play with you ass. I read someone’s post recently (can’t remember who) & it expressed they would love to feel how soft you are. So if you are a thicccc girlie, they’d love to jiggle you around

They’d be terrified of wigs cause what do you mean this is not your hair & is possibly someone else’s. The concept of “ripping” another person’s hair out & putting it on your head sounds sadistic. It sounds dramatic but when you think about it, it is a little wild.

Yautja Names

I hand wrote a list of 100 names, and made a handy dandy pronunciation guide for all of you fic writers and OC enthusiasts out there!

I spent a long time searching through Behind the Name looking for inspiration, so if you see names that are similar to real life that would be why. If you have an OC with a name similar to any of the ones listed here, please know that it’s a complete accident. You only have to tell me and I will remove it from the list :)

One more thing before we get started, I opted not to use any consonants that would require lips to pronounce, like “b”, “f”, “m”, “p”, or “v”.

Pronunciation Guide

Consonant Clusters:

Dj -> “j” as in jungle, but heavier/sharper

Zh -> Similar to the “zh” sound in the word vision

Kh -> A harsh “kh”, like the Scottish word loch, pronounced in the back of the throat

Gh -> Similar to the English “g” sound, but the sound comes further back in the throat

Q -> Deeper than the English “k”, sounds like a click

Qh -> An aspirated “kh” sound, that which is very similar to the English “k”

Ng -> Like in sing, rarely shows up anywhere except after a vowel

Sh -> Like in ship

Ch -> Like in church

Cw -> A breathy “hw” sound

Kw -> Like the English “qu” as in queen

Sz -> An almost hissed “s”/“z” sound, like in the Chinese/Pinyin “x"

Vowel Patterns:

‘ (glottal stop) -> a hard break, like in uh-oh

aa -> a long “ahhh”

ii -> a long “eee”

uu/oo -> a long “oo"

ei -> like in veil

ai -> like in eye

ou/au -> like in loud

oi -> like in void

Other Rules:

R -> a simple tap of the tongue to the roof of the mouth, halfway between an American “r" and a rolled “r"

An “h” after a vowel -> aspirated, not fully pronounced, like in the Arabic word Allah

Double consonants (jj, ll, tt, etc.) -> held slightly longer

Hyphen (-) -> Usually used to indicate that the name is a compound word, but is silent/not spoken

I’ve read a ton of Yautja x reader scenarios where said human has to meet her mate’s children. Taking almost like a cool stepmom/stepdad approach. However, I would love to see this role reversed, where the reader or OC had previous children. They come to yautja prime, the clan ship, or wherever the story takes place; to visit said parent.

Maybe the story could even be written from the child’s pov. Having to adjust to their parents new partner & life. Maybe they lost their other parent & is finding it hard to accept. How would they learn to coexist? Would they accept their new alien step parent? Adjust to the clan norms? Maybe even grow to love & respect each other.

Regardless of the plot, it’d definitely take them a while to adjust. You’d have to get past the initial fear of the yautja, which is a whole different battle….

Sooo I just had this random thought about sports. I feel like young bloods & blooded hunters would LOVE football & rugby. Definitely into wrestling as well. Once you introduce them to it, They’d be at it constantly trying to prove their strength. Even though they’ll be a little pushy, we’ll take any chance we can get to look at hot sweaty aliens👀

Ok so I need someone to turn this into a little story or something. I’ve had this on my mind for a while.

Sometimes we can run into many people you have chemistry with. Whether that be romantic, platonic, or mutual. It can be confusing sometimes

Scenario:

You are on an yautja clan ship with your mate, there are plenty of fresh elites on the ship. Imagine you become close or in a situation with a younger male. Your mate is absolutely hating it or ready to kill him, meanwhile you’re enjoying the company. Maybe you even develop a slight crush. Maybe even start to question your relationship…. He has a different personality (and/or style) from your mate. How would he handle it?

I could see this being an angst/nsfw. I wanna see all the interpretations. I’d love to see this actually written out…. Bonus points if you use your own OC

Yalllll, I watched The Woman King & i’ve never been so attracted to a woman in my life. These women were sooo fine & strong like the shit was enpowering to me. I liked how they demonstrated everything w/o making the movie too long (aka staying on plot). The dedication these actors put in is amazing, and let’s not forget about how gorgeous their skin complexions were. My favorite character easily had to be Izogie, like Lashana played tf outta her. Spoilers: Prey

Omg prey was beautifully executed and i LOVED all the action and cleverness from naru. I love seeing female characters like this, she proved everyone wrong. I loved that dog too, it was so smart and well trained. It reminded me of my dog, besides the well trained part (she’s nuts😆). Ngl my vibe was killed when i seen the french men, but we all know how that went. Beautiful cast, just everything was pretty awesome. Now when i saw the feral w/o his mask i was a little shocked i thought he was gonna look normal but have specific characteristics such as his thin locs. Its like that ugly family Chihuahua that everyone loves, so ugly yet so cute. The movie was a bit long tho, But all together solid 9/10💪🏾
