Meg wandered around the town with her bag in hand after her doctor’s appointment that afternoon. Normally, she had someone with her for these appointments, but she just really didn’t want to deal with anyone worrying about her right now. She always felt kind of faint and dizzy after her appointments, and it seemed to make her more approachable and meniable to conversations. She spotted a familiar face and made her way up to them, giving them a smile and a slight sway in her walk. “You up to anything fun tonight?”
Babette looked up when the voice hit her head. Shaking her head almost instantly. “You need to lay down is what you need to do, mon amour.” she pointed out looking her over for a second. “And no, not really. I have plans.” Not that she did, but Babette was sure the loneliness would call and she’d find herself in a twisted mistake by midnight.
