I’m Monica Dean, the TRUE LEADER of the Bullworth Academy newspaper committee!

Technically it’s this girl Lucille but she is such a nobody so it’s really me okay???

I’m 16, so no weirdos allowed alright? I don’t want the second coming of Mr Burton on my page.

I would say I hope we can be friends, but I’m already hanging out with the only cool people at Bullworth. I guess most people say we’re bullies, but that’s so not true! Besides, if you’re one of those freaks that hangs out with E*rnest, you deserve what’s coming to you.

The most important thing to know is that you can trust me! With anything! Tell me every secret you know! Everything I say is entirely verified, so you can trust me with your news too, and that’s a fact !! Plus, as the leader of the newspaper committee, it’s essential that I know everything I can about my fellow students (and faculty…)!

Do you think it’s morally justifiable for someone who’s running in the student election to also be running the polls? Can you say without a doubt that this vote isn’t rigged?

I think it is justifiable depending on a few factors - Most importantly who it is running the elections.

I believe it is completely fine for an honest, fair individual to run the elections, even if he himself is a candidate. If someone is trustworthy enough to be president, then there is no reason why he shouldn’t also be the one running things.

I’m assuming this is about my involvement with the polls… I can say, without any doubt, that these elections are not rigged! I’m the one running them, and I’m taking great care to ensure they are not rigged. They aren’t rigged, and they will nof be rigged in the near future!

So, with all of my journalistic generosity, I present the new and improved news submission system!

Just grab one of these from outside the music room and give it back to me once you’ve filled it out. Do NOT give it to Lucille; she has no idea what real news looks like.

With this, the Bullworth Academy News Association will finally fulfill its goal of providing relevant student news. Make sure you jot down every detail, ok? No matter how personal, humiliating, or utterly life-ruining it is. This is real journalism, I want real stories!
