Our room in Hoi An was insane, it was literally like the 18 yard box of a footy pitch. It was so huge. It had a double wardrobe, two beds, tons of space and genuinely enough seating for Jesus and his 12 apostles with the amount of chairs and sofas that were thrown in! In the evening a local Cambodian dinner was included for us at one of the homes of a Cambodian family, it was really nice to experience some of the traditions not only with the foods they made but various other simple things that are pretty unknown to Westerners. The plan for the morning of our last full day in Siem Reap was to go and see the sunrise at Angkor Wat ā meaning an early start. A very early start. 4AM! Iām not a morning person whatsoever but the prospect of seeing the iconic Angkor Wat at sunrise made it pretty easy to come to terms with getting up at a time too early for even the milkmen to rise from their pits.
