I remember when I was absolutely anxiety riddled every time I did any animation, I hid it well, but you won't see much of it coming from me if you look back on my old posts. It's crazy how not okay I was. The denial I was in back then was wild.

It's crazy how your mental health can stealthily keep you from creating and doing things you enjoy. Even 10 years ago, it took me so long to produce anything that I liked. I obsessed over improving, and found myself unable to enjoy sitting down and making something.

The fun was gone for me long before I realized it.

I could blame it on a bunch of things outside of myself, but the truth is that I let it happen. Not on purpose, of course, but the signs were there, and I ignored them. It wasn't until I identified this, and made the effort to nurture myself, did that joy return.

If you can relate to this, just know that you're not alone, and it isn't the end for your creativity. Don't give up on yourself.
