SC rejects fund transfer plea from PM CARES to NDRF
The Supreme Court has rejected a petition to transfer money from the PM CARES Fund created to fight covid-19 to the National Disaster Relief Fund (NDRF). The apex court mentioned that donations to both are voluntary, and the Centre is at liberty to transfer the money if it so desires.

Maruti to quit Gurugram plant after 39 years
Maruti Suzuki India plans to exit operations from its 39-year-old plant in Gurugram and look for a land in Manesar, Haryana. The 300-acre compound was getting difficult to operate as Gurugram turned into a megapolis.

State-run oil marketing company Bharat Petroleum is planning to add 1,000 fuel stations in the current financial year 2020-21 and it expects to be privatised by the end of the current fiscal.
Tata Motors launches Indiaâs largest tipper truck
Tata Motors has launched the Signa 4825.TK, which it claims to be Indiaâs first 47.5-tonne multi-axle tipper truck for surface transport of coal and construction aggregates. The Signa 4825.TK is powered by Cummins ISBe 6.7-litre BS-VI engine producing 250hp of maximum power 950 Nm of peak torque.
SC allows registration of BS-IV vehicles sold pre lockdown
The Supreme Court on Thursday allowed the registration of BS-IV vehicles that were sold in March this year, but could not be registered due to the nationwide lockdown before the March 31 deadline. The relaxation will not be applicable to Delhi-NCR.
