I feel like I have to make one final statement about my current stance on things. I have come to realize that my past actions and political alignments are actually incredibly problematic and hurtful to many different communities which I've found have done nothing wrong but exist as they are - one of them being the queer community, which I have only recently realized I think I may be a part of myself.. Atticus has been a massive help in opening my eyes and made me realize that unlike how I used to think, it is actually completely okay to simply be in love with someone of your same gender... So, for this I just feel the need to sincerely apologize to everyone who might've been negatively affected by my past views and the hurtful actions which the people I used to align myself with have committed. During the last few weeks I've gone through some intense soul searching and some experiences especially have shaped me into a person who no longer feels comfortable spreading the honestly evil message of the MAGA crowd. To attempt to repair a small bit of harm I have done by following MAGA pages I will, right after posting this, go and unfollow and unlike every post that contains such harmful and dehumanizing content.
I still have some trust issues concerning what the government may or may not be distributing to us regular citizens - as you can truly never know exactly what's going on behind their closed doors - but I am now willing to see any evidence and points of view that could change my opinions. From now on, although it may take some work and I may stumble and still do or say some bad things every now and then, I will try my absolute best to learn and become a better and more compassionate person to make up for the person I used to be.
The seeds led me to some fantastic discoveries, one of them being this new life which I cannot wait to start living. They pushed me to start this journey and I cannot be more thankful for the help they have given me, but I no longer feel like I need them as bad as I did before - they guided me here, but now I can see the way forward by myself. We went back to the dumpster where we have been finding them for the last few weeks, and, to both me and Atticus' surprise, they weren't there. I went back a couple more times after that, but the seeds are still nowhere to be found. Maybe the person(?) who has been leaving them there has, too, realized that the seeds have played their part and are simply not needed anymore. I recognize now that the story of how the seeds kept appearing at the dumpster doesn't quite make sense from the person who's been leaving them there's perspective.. Why would they keep buying them just to throw them away the next day? And if they had a consistent reason to do so, why stop now? This certainly is a mystery - but a mystery that I might never find the answer to.. Nonetheless, I am greatful for them. If they never started leaving those seeds at that dumpster, I may have never embarked on this eye-opening journey to begin with.
