𝔚𝔞𝔯𝔫𝔦𝔫𝔤𝔰: angst, ghostly metaphors galore, Nancy wheeler haunts yall, Eddie makes an appearance, more angst, Steve Harrington has issues!
𝔖𝔲𝔪𝔪𝔞𝔯𝔶:
Steve Harrington is trying to build a future, but he’s still living in the wreckage of his past. He has the snacks, the late-night devotion, and a love that feels real—until the silence of the night betrayed him. When a single name slips through the cracks of his subconscious, the fragile sanctuary he’s built with you begins to splinter.
As the rain hammers against the glass, a devastating truth remains: you can’t fill a hole in someone’s heart if it’s shaped like someone else. Now, both of you must face the ultimate question: Can a haunted man ever truly learn to love the living, or are some echoes simply too loud to drown out?

Continuation of “Slip of the Tongue” as part of “ The Poltergeist in the Passenger Seat” Series
The rain hadn’t stopped, but the rhythm of it felt different now—less like a cozy backdrop and more like a countdown.
Steve was trying. He was trying so hard it was almost painful to watch. He stayed late, he bought your favorite snacks, and he looked at you with an intensity that felt like he was trying to physically anchor himself to the present. But the problem with ghosts is that they don’t need an invitation to haunt a room.
The "Nancy" slip-up had cracked the floorboards, and now every creak in the house sounded like her name.
I literally can't believe we're getting a multi-season slow burn bickering-to-friends-to-lovers lesbian love story set in the 1800s with two of the most beautiful women I have ever seen before involved. We're not supposed to get this... like this is against the rules of TV or something idk it feels fucking surreal
sluttiest thing a man can do is lean on something
‘Slip of the tongue’ is sooooo good! The ending was pretty open, so is there any chance of a pt2? Maybe something angsty and fluffy?
tysmmm 🥹 haven’t written + posted in a while so this is so nice to hear!
I’ll def be working on a part two soon! It might just be more angst though, since I unfortunately love pain LMAO
Second Part is posted!

The silence in your apartment was comfortable, filled only by the soft crackle of the radio and the sound of rain against the window. Steve was lounging on the couch, his head resting in your lap while you absentmindedly ran your fingers through his hair.
