It is the time you have wasted for your rose that makes your rose so important. i love this line! i think in this case, the rose can represent different things. people may say that yibo is “wasting” his time with giving time to his passions, but it’s not a waste. it’s important to him. it’s enriching his life, so why not give it some attention? in cpn space tho, i think this does not need any further explanation. the little prince has been a recurring theme with them as individuals and as a pair. i made an initial post on that back in 2020 and since then it repeatedly came up. seriously, you can search little prince on my blog and a lot of those examples will come up.

and oh, the line mentioned in the vogue weibo caption was a part of what xz narrated before. yeah, it’s a lovely quote blah blah blah but it’s still a good coincidence.

we also have yibo posting today, i was honestly surprised that he did, the photos he shared were the magazine cover — and another one that he said rocco missed. so i think it’s safe to say that this is his favorite? and look at it. there are yellow flowers 🌼

i’m sorry to be that clown but small yellow flowers like that remind me of 3.14 and their first meeting. and the color yellow being our color just makes me happy! 💛

so let’s talk about their posts from last night which is related to the evil incarnate — sina weibo’s 15th anniversary. some people have noticed that this is the first time they did a bday greeting for weibo which is true. however they are not the only ones who posted, i also saw other celebrities do the same. you just have to look at the tag #一转眼已经15年啦# they used and see who also posted like dilraba, yngzi, FCC, mzy etc. some even shared what they were doing 15 years ago. i think these celebrities, which includes xz and wyb were encouraged to participate in this tag.

Not once, in all the years that I’ve been following ggdd, did Yibo post smth on his birthday. He replied to gg’s birthday post for him in 2019 but that is all, as far as I can remember. So not only is this the first time in I-don’t-even-know-how long that dd made a birthday post but he also made it very obviously similar to the photos gg posted on his last birthdays. i’m late. but i cannot NOT react to this parallel that cpfs are making between their birthday posts and this scene in the untamed.

a common gripe that haters have with us cpfs is that we can’t seem to separate fact ( xz and wyb ) with fiction ( wwx and lwj ).

these were personal posts on their weibo account. especially with yibo who rarely shares stuff like this makes it even more significant. the “couple photo” and now this parallel — there was 0 mental gymnastics involved. it’s not even “cpn” at this point. a passerby will see the similarity themselves.

there is something so calming about the two photos and i guess that is what they both long for. the quiet. being in a place where they are not hounded and just be surrounded by nature. there is also the romantic feeling of then being there, waiting for the love of their life to arrive. it doesn’t matter how long they have to stand there and wait, it’s worth it.

i wanna talk more about the two bros capture from xzs vlog because i can. lol. and because it makes me think how deliberate it is. the start of the vlog, you can see what appears to be a straight couple. okay cool. then for the two bros, it starts from when gg is inside some building/museum (p1) then you see a close up of him (p2) like he is a spectator, from the inside, looking into that free and open space. next he takes a photo (p3) but you can’t clearly see what the view is. so the narrator tells you exactly what it is (p4) , the two bros by the water. as a viewer, this feels like a story.

xz and his team have always been masters at this. telling a story in their vlogs. not just snaps of xz looking all handsome — there is a plot. some sequences ( if not all ) have a meaning and purpose. i don’t think it’s a coincidence at all that for a 1 minute ++ video, they took the time to add this bit. and the genius is there is still plausible deniability on their end. like any work of art or media in general, it is up for interpretation. it kinda reminds me of his ideal life painting as well. the two boys and the water.

and oh, this paris vlog being out a day after wyb was on hs + lots of media outlets because of him being a torchbearer for the olympics — therefore going to paris soon.

XZ went to Orsay to check in at a very niche arcade on the first day of his arrival in Paris, and took a selfie in a toy store. the store happened to be on the edge of the torch route, very close to the street.

dude. what are the chances. was he scouting the route for yibo? i can’t.
