I have no idea exactly what happened, or why, but I know that I have a job to do, and I'm going to get it done.

((Hey guys, Umiko here.

First of all, I want to say congrats to all the winners! You guys did great!

I also want to say that I'm really happy I joined this group. It gave me a chance to open up a bit more, and meet some amazing new people, and it also gave me the chance to watch you all grow as artists, and grow a bit myself too.

This has been an amazing journey, and I'm so happy I was able to be a part of it. Thank you all so much for having me. I look forward to seeing you all in future groups.

Now, as for Solace. Because I wasn't fast enough in getting the pages out (I blame my horrid perfectionism), the group has closed before her story ended. But that doesn't mean I'm not going to finish it! 

I have maybe two more pages after this one, and then I'm done forever. I'm not sure how many of you actually followed my comic, but I thank those of you that did, and still do. 

Also, you can expect to see Solace again in the future. I have a webcomic planned around her that I've been building up for some time now. You'll see it in the future some time. 

Anyways, I'm probably not going to be posting here much anymore aside from page updates. But that'll likely be it. 

I wish you all the best of luck in whatever it is that you wish to pursue. You are all so awesome and so talented and I will miss you all so much.

1,500 light years from Earth lies the beautifully eerie nebula, NGC 1999. The young star to the left of the picture gives the nebula its brightness. Reflection nebulae do not emit light on their own. They shine because of a light source embedded within, like a street lamp illuminates fog. The gas and dust of the nebula is left over from the star’s formation.
