This is my Spidersona, Snare. His real name is Wally Reagan.

I have a rough draft of most of his history, though it’s ongoing and I tend to shift the length of the timeline around a lot. It is roughly 7-10 years.

As for how much I’ve actually written… chapter 1 is still a WIP lol.

Of course, he does have that initial “canon event.” The death of his brother, Theo. Wally and Theo grew up in the foster system in New York; specifically in Jackson Heights in an orphanage that I made up. (St. Mary’s.)

His brother was killed after Wally used his powers to sneak into and win an underground fight; the losing opponent later tracking him down and killing his brother.

Snare for the first couple years is not in a good relationship with the NYPD, as when he tracked Theo’s killer down, he beat him senseless. He spared his life, but the killer would fall to his death shortly after. This would be witnessed by J. Jonah Jameson; who in my world, is a police officer.

So yeah, I hope anyone who finds this enjoyed my little self-indulgent OC rant.

Someone should write a book where there’s a character who’s headstrong, competent, opinionated and sometimes confrontational.

Only in half of the copies of the book the character is a man and in the others, they’re a woman.

I just think it’d be really funny to see how people react to that. For no reason in particular.
