You know how it is
There's a crypid BingYuan wip in my drafts (one of the like only SOLELY BINGYUAN posts there minus like the steamer au) where LBH is a playboy serial killer who lures his victims back to his home so he can kill and eat them.
He meets Shen Yuan, initially picking the male out due to the resemblance of someone Luo Binghe held quite a grudge against. It was supposed to be one and done, but Luo Binghe found that it was quite hard to get Shen Yuan willing to go home with him--I mean, normally you'd think a virgin would be jumping at the opportunity to follow a hot person hitting on them home, right?
Shen Yuan was not in fact leaping at the opportunity. For all he knows, Luo Binghe was a struggling university student that frequented the same coffee spot Shen Yuan did. All of the signals Luo Binghe had sent to the other flew over Shen Yuan's head as Shen Yuan passed it off as awkward friendliness, the kind of friendliness that came forth when you were awkward, couldn't relate to anybody around you, and were clinging on to any shred of familiarity between you and another person desperately.
When Luo Binghe brought up painting as a conversation starter and Shen Yuan made an offhand comment about how he'd painted a few pieces, Luo Binghe latched onto that. He batted his lashes slightly, the familiar grin of someone who knew they were charming stretching across his face as he leaned a bit closer and asked if Shen Yuan would mind giving him a few one-to-one lessons in painting. Shen Yuan shut the proposal down immediately, he wasn't a professional painter, what business did he have teaching anyone?
The sureness in his tone as he rejected Luo Binghe made the crypid feel a bit stunned. This wasn't his first time being rejected, no, Luo Binghe was well aware that he wasn't everyone's type. It was just the first time he'd ever met someone so dense that even obvious flirting like that passed over their heads. His first time being rejected unintentionally.
Luo Binghe wasn't a quitter though, he very much preferred a challenge over the same "meet, sleep, eat, repeat" routine he'd familiarized himself with. So he gets closer to Shen Yuan, trying various attempts to get into the male's pants.
When Luo Binghe FINALLY convinced Shen Yuan to join him at the pool, rather than marveling over Luo Binghe's well crafted body, he simply nodded appreciatively and spent the rest of the time there catching up with a childhood friend he just so happened to meet there. (Damn you Liu whatever your name is...)
When Luo Binghe mentioned his talent for cooking and invited Shen Yuan to come taste his cooking personally, Shen Yuan looked at him as if he were a very very poorstray dog and said "It's okay," (To be fair, Shen Yuan didn't want to stretch the "poor uni student's" pockets any further than they were. He didn't want the other to feel pressured into showing off around him!)
While Luo Binghe is trying to woo Shen Yuan, he finds himself charmed by this oblivious loser. Like, the charming playboy persona drops bit by bit and he starts showing much more genuine sides of himself.

Sooooo SY reminds LBH of SQQ who happened to foster little stray LBH for a period of time. LBH has this weird love-hate-fuck mindset when it comes to that guy (as per canon typical Luo Bingge) like he's still somewhat desperate for the other's approval but if he could he'd tear the other limb from limb and eat the other.. but like sensually... Idk LBH is a freakazoid we know this
um In this au LBH isn't like super corrupted--namely because he doesn't have an evil ass cursed sword--but he's still vengeful. Instead of the Abyss scene it was more like SQQ going "You've been here long enough, leave" and LBH understanding that he really wasn't wanted and feeling a bit bitter about it. Rather than being pushed to his presumed death Luo Binghe was just openly abandoned
UHHH there's more lore but like it's so hot I don't feel like typing anymore guhh
CW: Suggestive
I'm sorry for my depravity
The implications are astounding
