After Merric and Flint’s deaths, Mercedes took over the Suicune Raider, and named herself the Captain.
Mercedes Ship is not the old-fashioned wooden Frigate Ships of Fairy-Tale Pirate s though. No, the Suicune Raider is a Modern Frigate. Modeled after the Destroyer, the Suicune Raider is a large ship, loaded with many swivel guns and artillery to take down any enemy ship that comes across it.
There are also several launch arms for launching smaller speed boats to take the crew ashore, since a ship that size can only dock at certain places, and Mercedes doesn’t often risk parking her Pirate Ship ashore.
The Acts of Piracy the Suicune Raider usually partake in is Smuggling. They smuggle people, Pokemon, items... anything they think they can make a big buck in, in a different region. That being said, the do have a foot in the underground human smuggling ring partaking in some of the Non-League-Managed areas.
That doesn’t mean they don’t attack land as well though. When running low on supplied, or when they want booze or cash, the Suicune Raider is known for attacking small, sea-side towns. To do this, the Crew hop aboard the Speed Boats, and sail to shore, where they re-organize, and plan a planned attack on banks, pubs, stores, and wherever they can get a good buck. Most of the time they take hostages in these situations back to their Ship, to keep pursuers off their tails, as the Suicune Raider disappears... of course, these Hostages are never seen again.
Awhile ago, the Suicune Raider got caught by some Coastguard ships, and took heavy damage. In order to repair the ship, it disappeared for awhile. But now it’s repaired, and ready to start its carnage all over again!
