i think these midwesterners would be a lil less surprised by snow in march. it snowed at my illinois prom in april (granted, that was 2019, so maybe global warming hadn’t been causing nonsensical weather to that same degree in 1986)

s4 is arguably the worst season for a variety of reasons, but a big part of it is the finale battle where lucas and erica are fighting off white human attackers while everyone else in the group (white) are fighting off supernatural creatures. like i know we deal with plenty of weapons in this show, but dear god i don’t want to see erica tackled by a jock three times her size while lucas holds his hands up in surrender to a former friend wielding a gun at him

lucas asked max “movie friday?” on a THURSDAY baby boy wanted a date TOMORROW

it means the world to me that lucas was like “i love kate bush” and when max questioned him he was like “she saved your life of course i love her”

here are my predictions for who might die in s5 (bc i want the duffers to stop being cowards and actually off some main characters):

eleven and/or will (for obvious upside down connections)

mike (bc will called him the heart of the party, and it would be ironic it they were forced to carry on without their heart)

steve (bc he is the people’s princess and i have seen fans begging for him to live, and the duffers might just take out my boy)

murray (i just don’t like him and he’s outlived his use)

hopper (for real this time, AND we see the body and confirm he’s gone) (also i wanted him to be fully dead after s3 but ig they needed to give joyce something to do in s4, and thus forcing murray to be relevant)

jonathan (full-circle moment for joyce to start the series fearing for the loss of one son only to end the series losing the other) (he would get killed in an effort to protect will and/or nancy)

nancy (she’s too talented and competent, i love her so much, i fear she would get a disappointing death, similar to dean in “supernatural”)

max or lucas (bc the duffers want me to be sad)

so steve is a grade ahead of nancy and jonathan (during s2, oct/nov 1984, steve is a senior while jancy are juniors). robin and steve were in the same first period class sophomore year (that school year would have been autumn of 1982 to spring of 1983). in s3 (june/july 1985), steve has just graduated high school and robin is still in school, which means she has to be two grades below steve and one grade below jancy.

but also in s2, steve surprises nancy at school and she’s like “what are you doing here?” as if he’s not supposed to be there, possibly bc he had already graduated? unless jancy are seniors in s2 and steve is out of school? but also robin asks steve if he’s ever been in love and he answers “first semester of senior year” which either means he’s referencing the start of the stancy relationship (autumn of 1983) or the end of it (autumn of 1984).

in conclusion. how old are the teens supposed to be. bc i’m confused.

wait no so steve was definitely a senior during s2 since he plays basketball against billy in the school gym a couple times, which means jancy were juniors, and robin was what?? a senior, a junior, held back so she could be a senior in s4???

nancy (and presumably jonathan) was a sophomore in s1 bc when nancy/robin/steve/eddie are in the upside down in s4, nancy finds her old flash cards that she and steve used to study in s1, and she says that the flash cards were from sophomore chemistry
