bioware has a bad habit of throwing their lgbt+ characters under the bus in favor of their straight cis characters. the proof? it's in the writing, dude!

- Leliana, a bisexual woman who was written into an abusive, toxic relationship with another, older woman
- and Merrill, an autistic-coded bisexual woman & highly competent blood mage, who deserves way better than what she got from both the writers and the fandom. infantilization, being blatantly and constantly ignored, overlooked and dismissed when she's intelligent as fuck. and having the option to murder her clan? are you fucking serious?!
- allowing a homophobic and ableist writer to write Anders, allowing him to be vilified at every stage, allowing him— A BISEXUAL, NEURODIVERGENT-CODED MAN— to be murdered in cold blood, potentially by his own lover!
- and Fenris? Fenris is another bisexual brown man. who also escaped slavery on his own, and who turns to the player for help. but guess what? you have the horrible, disgusting option to betray him by sending him back to Danarius. your character's friend! possibly even their lover! WHAT THE FUCK!
- again with the hypersexualization of Isabela, a bisexual black woman. again, with infantilizing her and her decisions and downright misogynistic writing. not to even mention the insistent whitewashing of her in inquisition, the comics, and by the fandom itself. she fucking deserves better, you assholes!
- as if inquisition couldn't get any worse, it also stars the demonization of Sera and Dorian IN THE GAME ITSELF; THE FIRST CANON LESBIAN AND GAY COMPANIONS! ONE OF WHICH (SERA) IS AUTISTIC-CODED!
