I’m so fucking glad to be doing exams.
I can’t wait to check the hell out of this place and start actually drawing a paycheque.
It's only a matter of time. We'll be a real family. I promise. You're going to make an amazing mom.

I would really prefer to kneecap him.
But his name is Avery.
Alright. I'll take care of it.
One of my cubs was put in the infirmary by his now ex-boyfriend.
Well how about you give me his name and I make sure he spends 2 days in the whole for every day Hurley is in the infirmary.
Well, I might be lightening your load a little bit.
I need your help. And by help, I mean a tire iron and you looking the other way.
Uh. No. We have a child to think about. What am I suppose to do about work if you are locked up in solitary and can't look after her?
How about you just tell me what's going on?
This place is so slack on staff it's going to drive me to drink.
What’s up is your seamonkey spawn could be growing in my uterus right now, so I’d appreciate a piss test.
You know you're a shit liar.
Condoms aren’t foolproof babe, just help me out here.
I'm pretty cautious about this stuff. I always check for tears after.
Mmmm. Something is up. I'll humor you, but only if you tell me whats really going on.
I need you to pick up a pregnancy test.
What? Seriously? How is that even possible. I haven't even made a dent in my condom collection..
Before I say anything, you have to promise not to freak out.
Okay. Yeah. Shoot.
Oh of course.
Well I'm glad to hear that.
Never.
Oh yeah? Whats kind of things could a pretty young thing like you get yourself into.
I sure do hope that everyone is behaving themselves properly.
Date Night | Nora and Forrest
Nora opened the box and covered her mouth again. “Forrest…” She carefully fastened the bracelet around her wrist, the blue stones catching yellow candlelight and lighting up against her skin. “You’re spoiling me.” She reached up to touch the his face, smoothly her thumb across his stubbly cheek. “You’re going to make me fat and sparkly and I’ll have no idea how to handle it.” She hadn’t even regularly worn jewelry before he’d given her that necklace, the one she still hadn’t taken off. She didn’t usually wear jewelry, do her hair, wear fancy lingerie, that had all come with him.
He smiled and stood up to kiss her. Brushing his nose against hers. "I love you, and I'm looking forward to making you my wife someday." He pet her head and sat down. Smirking at her comment. "Yeah, so around Christmas time we don't have to go out and get a tree we can just put a few lights on your and set the presents around you." He crinkled her nose and dripped a cookie in the chocolate fondue before holding it out to her. Just happy to know that she was his. It's all he could ever ask for.
Date Night | Nora and Forrest
Nora brushed at her eyes, not bothering to hide her grin now. Before she’d gone to the hospital, she was nothing but a scared university student, on her way to a degree and a life with nothing but books and carefully locked doors. She had never expected to meet someone she loved like this, never expected aspiring to a home with dogs and children and chickens. The chickens, especially, were a surprise - and for a second made what he’d prepared much less appetizing.
“I still can’t believe you cook.” She stifled a laugh and sipped her champagne, a smile still on her lips. “And that you’re giving me another gift. The daughter made this Christmas. Hands down.”
Forrest dished out the food, only really small portions. He had something bigger planned for dessert. "Yeah well this is just precursor to dessert." He chewed on his lips and took a drink as well. He had to eat something, he had spent so long cooking it and he was starving. He took another drink before motioning toward the box. "Will you open it please?" He waited for her to finish eating before he moved a big pot onto the table. Filled mixed white and milk chocolate. Also a plate of various little cake slices, cookies, marshmallows.
You know what, I don’t want to fucking deal with this right now.
[Grabs her arm.] This conversation is not over. We will talk later.
Date Night | Nora and Forrest
Nora reluctantly let go of the grip she’d had on the belt loops of his jeans and sat down, face flushed and lit up. He really did never stop surprising her. A day or two ago and they’d been fighting like cats and dogs, screaming at each other in a room now full of candles. Sure, the news about Molly had interrupted that, but it was still there, like his stash, a splinter in her finger, something she couldn’t forget about, but that he wasn’t going to give ground on. They were both stubborn - when issues like that came up, they were never really resolved. Just set aside.
She covered her mouth when he started singing, not to muffle laughter, just to keep from grinning too wide and making him self-conscious. There were tears pricking at her eyes by the time he reached the end of the song, she was getting overwhelmed.
"And I'm on my way to believing." He stopped and licked his lips. Setting the guitar down and moving over to the table. Reaching out and grabbed her hand from her face. Bringing it to his lips. "I don't give a good god damn about your past. Edwin...is nothing more than a person in your life, okay? I don't care about any of that because all I want is you. Us. This family we are building. I know things have moved really fast, but you mean the world to me." He pulled a medium sized flat jewelry box from his pocket. Too large to be a ring. "I got you this for Christmas but I also got you something else and I couldn't hold onto it any longer." He set the box on the table and grabbed the kart, pulling it over to their table. Grabbing the plates off of it and a bottle of champagne out of the bucket of ice. Pouring them both a glass. He grabbed a covered dish and sat it down in front of her. Open the lid and revealed chicken covered in a creamy mushroom sauce and sauteed zucchini and squash on the side.
How are you only the exception? Why can’t other people be the exception besides you? Is it so hard to believe that other people who are like that can change too?! [she looked to be on the verge of tears, gripping her shirt sleeve tightly] He has not used drugs once since I’ve met him, Forrest. Not once. He has never tried to get me to do drugs and he has never touched me inappropriately. Well, we did kiss, but that’s not inappropriate in the slightest. How do you think he’s going to hurt me, Forrest?
A guy like that could rape you, or cheat on you, or hit you and not even care because that is what guys like him do. He could have used drugs and you not know it. Addicts are good at hiding you. I'm telling Lisa that you aren't the type of girl for him. He is bad for you. I'm just trying to look out for you.
