[hadeth]

عن جويرية أم المؤمين رضي الله عنها قالت: أنَّ النبيَّ صلَّى اللهُ عليه وسلَّمَ خرج من عندِها بُكرةً حين صلى الصبحَ ، وهي في مسجدِها . ثم رجع بعد أن أَضحَى ، وهي جالسةٌ . فقال “ ما زلتِ على الحالِ التي فارقتُكِ عليها ؟ ” قالت : نعم . قال النبيُّ صلَّى اللهُ عليه وسلَّمَ “ لقد قلتُ بعدكِ أربعَ كلماتٍ ، ثلاثَ مراتٍ . لو وُزِنَتْ بما قلتِ منذُ اليومَ لوزَنَتهنَّ : سبحان اللهِ وبحمدِه ، عددَ خلقِه ورضَا نفسِه وزِنَةِ عرشِه ومِدادَ كلماتِه ”. صحيح مسلم حديث ٢٧٢٦

Juwairiya reported that Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) came out from (her apartment) in the morning as she was busy in observing her dawn prayer in her place of worship. He came back in the forenoon and she was still sitting there. He (the Holy Prophet) said to her: You have been in the same seat since I left you. She said: Yes. Thereupon Allah’s Apostle (ﷺ) said: I recited four words three times after I left you and if these are to be weighed against what you have recited since morning these would outweigh them and (these words) are:“ Hallowed be Allah and praise is due to Him according to the number of His creation and according to the pleasure of His Self and according to the weight of His Throne and according to the ink (used in recording) words (for His Praise). عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرَةَ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ قَالَ خَطَبَنَا النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَوْمَ النَّحْرِ، قَالَ ‏"‏ أَتَدْرُونَ أَىُّ يَوْمٍ هَذَا ‏"‏‏.‏ قُلْنَا اللَّهُ وَرَسُولُهُ أَعْلَمُ‏.‏ فَسَكَتَ حَتَّى ظَنَنَّا أَنَّهُ سَيُسَمِّيهِ بِغَيْرِ اسْمِهِ‏.‏ قَالَ ‏"‏ أَلَيْسَ يَوْمَ النَّحْرِ ‏"‏‏.‏ قُلْنَا بَلَى‏.‏ قَالَ ‏"‏ أَىُّ شَهْرٍ هَذَا ‏"‏‏.‏ قُلْنَا اللَّهُ وَرَسُولُهُ أَعْلَمُ‏.‏ فَسَكَتَ حَتَّى ظَنَنَّا أَنَّهُ سَيُسَمِّيهِ بِغَيْرِ اسْمِهِ‏.‏ فَقَالَ ‏"‏ أَلَيْسَ ذُو الْحَجَّةِ ‏“‏‏.‏ قُلْنَا بَلَى‏.‏ قَالَ ‏"‏ أَىُّ بَلَدٍ هَذَا ‏"‏‏.‏ قُلْنَا اللَّهُ وَرَسُولُهُ أَعْلَمُ‏.‏ فَسَكَتَ حَتَّى ظَنَنَّا أَنَّهُ سَيُسَمِّيهِ بِغَيْرِ اسْمِهِ‏.‏ قَالَ ‏"‏ أَلَيْسَتْ بِالْبَلْدَةِ الْحَرَامِ ‏"‏‏.‏ قُلْنَا بَلَى‏.‏ قَالَ ‏"‏ فَإِنَّ دِمَاءَكُمْ وَأَمْوَالَكُمْ عَلَيْكُمْ حَرَامٌ، كَحُرْمَةِ يَوْمِكُمْ هَذَا، فِي شَهْرِكُمْ هَذَا، فِي بَلَدِكُمْ هَذَا، إِلَى يَوْمِ تَلْقَوْنَ رَبَّكُمْ‏.‏ أَلاَ هَلْ بَلَّغْتُ ‏"‏‏.‏ قَالُوا نَعَمْ‏.‏ قَالَ ‏"‏ اللَّهُمَّ اشْهَدْ، فَلْيُبَلِّغِ الشَّاهِدُ الْغَائِبَ، فَرُبَّ مُبَلَّغٍ أَوْعَى مِنْ سَامِعٍ، فَلاَ تَرْجِعُوا بَعْدِي كُفَّارًا يَضْرِبُ بَعْضُكُمْ رِقَابَ بَعْضٍ ‏"‏‏.صحيح البخاري حديث 1741 - صحيح مسلم حديث 1679

Narrated Abu Bakra: The Prophet (ﷺ) delivered to us a sermon on the Day of Nahr. He said, ”Do you know what is the day today?“ We said, "Allah and His Apostle know better.” He remained silent till we thought that he might give that day another name. He said, “Isn’t it the Day of Nahr?” We said, “It is.” He further asked, “Which month is this?” We said, “Allah and His Apostle know better.” He remained silent till we thought that he might give it another name. He then said, “Isn’t it the month of Dhul-Hijja?” We replied: “Yes! It is.” He further asked, “What town is this?” We replied, “Allah and His Apostle know it better.” He remained silent till we thought that he might give it another name. He then said, “Isn’t it the forbidden (Sacred) town (of Mecca)?” We said, “Yes. It is.” He said, “No doubt, your blood and your properties are sacred to one another like the sanctity of this day of yours, in this month of yours, in this town of yours, till the day you meet your Lord. No doubt! Haven’t I conveyed Allah’s message to you? They said, "Yes.” He said, “O Allah! Be witness. So it is incumbent upon those who are present to convey it (this information) to those who are absent because the informed one might comprehend it (what I have said) better than the present audience, who will convey it to him. Beware! عن أبي أيوب الأنصاري، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: “مَنْ صامَ رمضانَ . ثُمَّ أَتْبَعَهُ ستًّا مِنْ شوَّالٍ . كانَ كصيامِ الدَّهْرِ” صحيح مسلم

Abu Ayyub al-Ansari (Allah be pleased with him) reported Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) as saying: ”He who observed the fast of Ramadan and then followed it with six (fasts) of Shawwal. it would be as if he fasted perpetually.” Sahih Muslim 1164 a In-book reference : Book 13, Hadith 264 USC-MSA web (English) reference : Book 6, Hadith 261

عن أبي الدرداء، عن الرسول صلي الله عليه وسلم قال: “‏ مَنْ دَعَا لأَخِيهِ بِظَهْرِ الْغَيْبِ قَالَ الْمَلَكُ الْمُوَكَّلُ بِهِ آمِينَ وَلَكَ بِمِثْلٍ ‏”‏ ‏.‏ صحيح مسلم

Abu Dharrda reported that Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) said: “He who supplicates for his brother behind his back (in his absence), the Angel commissioned (for carrying supplication to his Lord) says: Amen, and it is for you also”.

عن رفاعة بن رافع الزُرقي رضي الله عنه قال: “كنا يومًا نصلِّي وراءَ النبيِّ صلَّى اللهُ عليه وسلَّم، فلما رفَع رأسَه من الركعةِ، قال : سمِع اللهُ لمَن حمِدَه . قال رجلٌ وراءَه : ربَّنا ولك الحمدُ، حمدًا كثيرا طيبًا مباركًا فيه . فلما انصرَف، قال : مَنِ المتكلِّمُ . قال : أنا، قال : رأيتُ بِضعَةً وثلاثينَ مَلكًا يبتَدِرونها، أيُّهم يكتبُها أولُ .” صحيح البخاري

Narrated Rifa`a bin Rafi` Az-Zuraqi: “One day we were praying behind the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) . When he raised his head from bowing, he said, “Sami`a l-lahu liman hamidah.” A man behind him said, “Rabbana wa laka l-hamdu, hamdan kathiran taiyiban mubarakan fihi” (O our Lord! All the praises are for You, many good and blessed praises). When the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) completed the prayer, he asked, “Who has said these words?” The man replied, “I.” The Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) said, “I saw over thirty angels competing to write it first.” Prophet rose (from bowing) and stood straight till all the vertebrae of his spinal column came to a natural position.” Sahih al-Bukhari 799 In-book reference : Book 10, Hadith 194 USC-MSA web (English) reference : Vol. 1, Book 12, Hadith 764

Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet (ﷺ) said, “(There are) two words which are dear to the Beneficent (Allah) and very light (easy) for the tongue (to say), but very heavy in weight in the balance.
