“If I have one message to give to the secular American people, it’s that the world is not divided into countries. The world is not divided between East and West. You are American, I am Iranian, we don’t know each other, but we talk together and we understand each other perfectly. The difference between you and your government is much bigger than the difference between you and me. And the difference between me and my government is much bigger than the difference between me and you. And our governments are very much the same.”
― Marjane Satrapi, Iranian graphic novelist
Goodnight, and rest in peace, Marjane Satrapi. Thank you for your work and your voice. May we hear you.
To whoever introduced psyop into the modern lexicon? I'll see you in hell.
I'm very grateful I grew up with parents who didn't foist their views onto me. While my mom is fairly progressive, I don't know. I do think she has some views regarding men that need work in my opinion. And they stem from religion. From Christianity that she wants me to embrace.
I just see these other religious Black women talking about submission. Who have these archaic views on relationships. "He's the leader, I don't even thinking about disagreeing, he takes care of everything".
I know that there could've been a version of me who perpetually empties herself for approval and love. Who would be starved on independence until she needs it. And I'm glad she doesn't exist.
And people will say it's just the right and conservatives who feel this way. But I saw the way Americans who do care that these people are being killed were treated by the left as well.
Literally plugging in their ears, laughing, bopping people on the head, etc.
You would--and still do--get lectured by people who couldn't admit to you or themselves they were okay with these people dying if it meant they were safe. Because they weren't born here, because of their faith, because of the color their skin.
It's ghoulish.
The amount of antiblack ignorance this family brings out in people is fascinating.
Barring the torrent of vitriol after Beyonce released certain songs and performed them. You have:
People believing Beyonce is biracial.
People who made fun of Blue's hair and features.
People who stay fixating on Jay's hair for some... odd reason. Who can't take it at face value and who are so bored they turn it into some conspiracy.
I'm over here critiquing them for their rampant capitalism and the ways they sell out.
You're over here twisting yourself into a pretzel because they don't show up visually the way you want them to.
We are not the same.
It's almost like... the book is free not to who bought it, but to who it's given to...
It's almost like "free" is a relative perception in a world where we have to pay for things.
You buy one hot dog and get another free? You don't pay for it, but the business with the promotion likely does.
I don't know if her ignorance is guinea or feigned for money. But what I do know? These people are a stain.
Comments by RFK Jr. and Joe Rogan appear to have encouraged a 38.7% increase in vitamin A poisoning cases early last year.
Another such example.

I ultimately don't think the series is for me, but shout out to this man.
The issue he's talking about is also why Black women feel rejected in romance spaces and why the Disposable Black Girlfriend is viewed as a trope by the way.
But let y'all tell it: Black women are doing too much and imagining stuff.
I ultimately don't think the series is for me, but shout out to this man.
😒
You really start to understand that the “angry black woman” and “mean lesbian” stereotype only exists to shame us for the fact we get reasonably upset about people wanting to horrifically abuse us indiscriminately. Let’s get meaner !
Trying to make Black people the face of anti Asian racism and the catalyst for #StopAsianHate is exactly why there are tweets like the one I talked about earlier.
Some Black people legit feel like there's nothing there to work with and that our allyship is taken for granted. That y'all will hate us and blame us despite everything else. And I can't blame people like that women earlier when y'all are doing shit like this.
#StopAsianHate sprung up in light of a spike in sinophobia during Covid. Sinophobia that has tended to by both parties who fear China's innovation, money, and influence by the way. Don't even get me started on people who believe they eat dogs.
But that sinophobia led to hate crimes against Asian Americans nationwide. Then came the shooting--where the shooter indeed linked his actions to his sex addiction and religious leanings--then came the hashtag.
And people tried to say "oh, it's Black people doing this. they're the ones harming Asian Americans mostly". But no no. Research and news stories proved you wrong.
The FBI republished hate crime data on Monday after an error in Ohio.
When leaders hide hate speech behind the veil of free speech.
A new lawyer has joined Long's defense team, giving him a required two qualified capital murder attorneys.
Now I'm not trying to sit here and act like there aren't Black people who need to work their anti Asian sentiment. But making us the face of it? So interesting. So telling. When the perpetrators who have been caught and seen are white men for the most part.
A new analysis reveals misconceptions about perpetrators, victims, and the general environment around anti-Asian hate incidents. These can h
