       Oh? Silhouette spotted, her eyes trace an approaching figure, wary yet eased. Behind the hazy dusk that curtains the hallways, the frame is hardly identifiable— what she could detect was a slightly lithe stature with short locks. Perhaps…. it was her dear sister Ara?         Her taut lips give way to relaxation, soothing her worries yet keeping her guard. If it was just Ara, (and who else could it possibly be, haha?) then there would be no harm in deploying another prank, yeah? Alas, with an airy whisk of her fingers, she projects a brisk message across to her guest:

                “Boo.”

     Boring guy, some would say- Aver wouldn't care, but rarely startled. In fact, he almost felt startled at the fact someone did even attempted a scare. And from a young woman, nonetheless, what kind of expression should he be wearing? He had not met her before, that was clear. He must be heading back home soon, really.

     "...May I help you, miss?" he asked, with the most patience he could possibly muster for a complete stranger. "Should I say you gave me quite the shock, just now." -that was a lie.

"Looks like it’s finally becoming lively around here. Perhaps it is time to finally retire."

"Yup, that or perhaps it is time to turn into human-popsicles."

[blacknorwhite]

   Should he have been delighted that he hadn't a single mission on queue or perhaps restless, even? It was far, far too cold for much of anything. Going outside and finding actual enjoyment in that was probably too far fetched- but hey, what else could he lose besides a limb or two to frostbites. 

   "No wonder it's so quiet, heck- what kind of idiot would go outside in this weather?"...he would.

          "Whoa, hey now— I don’t have to be restricted within the castle at all times y’know."

     "Doubtful, still. But don't take it to heart- too cold to be outside is all I meant." -and it's also too cold to play nice, royals or not.

          “I’d like to throw you off and just say you’re going bonkers but it has been unusually quiet.”

     "Right. I'm sure it must be, if even their majesty, the monarch, has time to be out and about on the streets."

"Strange, the kingdoms almost seem quiet today, or am I going bonkers?"

"Of course, be my guest~" He shifted, folding his hands in front of him as he studied the taller individual. "Although I do wish to know your name at least. It’s unsettling to have met someone and still be strangers no?" He chuckled lightly.

     "Ah, sure- of course, where are my manners?" His name meant nothing to him anyways. With luck, he didn't have to carry out the favor of killing such a forgiving lady just yet. "The name's Aver, her majesty. It is a pleasure."

"Hmm, now who could you be?" Umi asked, his head tilting slightly. "I do not believe you are from my kingdom, I am pretty sure I am familiar with everyone who lives there."

     "Oh, I don't mean any harm, milady. Just passing by on an errand..." The monarch didn't seem to be threatening him in the slightest- perhaps he was safe? "You will allow me to return, surely?"
