In my head, Castiel is kind of like the patron saint of hunters in this AU. Dean regularly comes to visit him, leaving little offerings, lighting candles, and praying for protection before heading back out into the world. I don't know... I just love the idea of their relationship having this almost mythical, reverent quality to it. π
