How happy were you when you learned that otherkin was a thing?

Well, when I first made assumptions about otherkin after only reading a little, I was mad because there was stupid people on this planet.

After reading more into it and realizing that I may actually be dragonkin, I was pretty happy and excited. I was mostly because I found myself, I found out who I am.

I actually before then spent years wondering who I was, and if I was really anybody. Not in a depressive way, but a thinking way.

But I am glad I found the term otherkin, it has helped me a lot through finding myself.

I feel the same way but it pisses me off when people don’t water me ??? like it’s so oppressive when people can’t see me for ME why is it that i have to associate myself with the giant’s tongue for them to know me? why is it that dogkin and catkin have it so easy. they can just interact with nuzzles and pets. should I learn a rain dance? :(

I’m really sorry that I’m otherkin. If you don’t like that, then I’m sorry. If you hate me for it, then I’m sorry. If you think I’ve changed, then you’re wrong. Just because I’m otherkin doesn’t mean that I’ve changed completely. In fact, I haven’t changed at all. I’m still me. 

I still love all of you, even if you don’t feel the same. I’m still here for you and love you unconditionally. I still want to be your friend and cheer you up when you need it most. Just because I’m otherkin, it doesn’t change that. 

I’m still me. And I’m proud of that.
