Night Air

Sirius and Remus' quiet evening in the garden is upended when Harry arrives unexpectedly, needing to offload about some changes in his life and bringing back old memories that Sirius, and Remus, would rather stayed in the past.

"Come on, you can't sleep in those." He said, and Harry gave a huff, shoving his trousers down his, still far too thin, legs and kicking them to one side before crawling back onto the bed and stretching out. "S'oft" He said and then gave a low chuckle as Sirius pulled the duvet up over his bare legs, "Feel like a kid." Sirius snorted, but then Harry closed his eyes and mumbled, "No one's ever really put me to bed before" and Sirius' amusement faded instantly, replaced with an ache so deep in his chest that he thought for a split second it might actually finish him off.
