❛    do not worry, she won't harm you.       ❜ despite the witch's reassuring words, it is difficult to not feel a sense of intimidation when faced with the wyvern. a towering creature, with broad wings that lay atop the grass of the courtyard, but otherwise peaceful and no hint of hostility within crimson eyes. the trip from hazakura to fódlan had left kira's dear wyvern anxious for the open skies, and thankfully garreg mach was well suited for others who rode flying mounts. she remembers taking her dear kisaragi out of the ship for rides across the blue ocean, and perhaps they were long overdue for another flight, one that was not training.

for now, however, she simply introduces the creature to the prince of faerghus. a hand of hers remain atop her wyvern's snout as it watches dimitri with curious eyes, as though wondering who her rider has brought to her today. ❛    you've ridden horses before, yes? wyverns are similar, though you take to the air rather than the ground. kisaragi is a sweetheart, i promise you.       ❜

his eyes are surely wide as saucers, mystified entirely by the creature before him. fear is certainly not one of the many sentiments in his gaze, made evident by the lack of hesitation as he slowly raises an armored hand to rest gently upon the wyvern's snout. for what little time he possesses to admire the beauty that nature can offer, dimitri wishes for nothing more than to make the most of it. only for a moment or two does he spend stroking the scaly expanse of the creature's head before casually turning back to his company.

" oh, i am not afraid in the least, " he responds with a light chuckle. " a good friend of mine also has a wyvern companion. she is truly magnificent, though i... have not had the pleasure of riding her. but yes, i do imagine riding a horse is rather similar.
