ok storytime I need to know if this is a valid thing to be annoyed about

So I'm in gym class today and at my school you need to change into gym clothes so I'm wearing sweat pants and a t shirt , the shirt happens to be one I cut to be a little off the shoulder bc that's kinda a trend rn

So my gym teacher calls me to the front of everyone while he's doing attendence and told me that me showing both my shoulders was inappropriate and I had to fix it.

I was super embarrassed obviously but I'm only mad for two reasons

Like 3 other girls on the class had off the shoulder tops on and only I got dress coded. I think it was because mine was both shoulders and not one? But I don't understand how that would be more inappropriate.

2. My twin brother also has gym this year and a boy in his class ran the mile shirtless the other day and our gym teacher let him. But my shoulders are inappropriate.

I feel like if my grown man of a gym teacher thought my shoulders were inappropriate and a violation of the gym attire (not stated in the handbook) but not a boy being completely shirtless, is blatantly sexist. Please tell me I'm not crazy
