“Please please tell me you’ve seen Talia, and please tell me she is not somewhere dancing on a table..” Naomi asked with a mix of worry and desperation in her voice, just hoping the person she stopped had the answer she wanted.
“You could only wish she was doing something so cool.” Blake called out over the music, shoving the spare drink intended for Kitty towards her. “Seriously, you should try to lighten up and have some fun.”
“ it’s COMPLETELY safe right now, there’s nothing to be afraid of, ” he says, turning around to look at his companion with a grin. “ i’ve been here during the night a few times, & i’m not dead, am i ? ”
“I don’t give a shit about that, I’m just trying to not end up in detention again.” Blake huffed, already almost out of breath. “This better be worth it, Sirius.”
“ what part of my disposition makes you think i want to be here? ” crossing his arms over his chest, remus pushed back on the legs of his chair, an eyebrow raised in the direction of the other detention-goer. “ or maybe was it something i said? because trust me, i want to be out of here just as much as you. ”
“I don’t think you want to be here.” Blake clarified feeling slightly annoyed. At what, she wasn’t sure. Probably not Remus, but he was the closest thing that seemed to be giving her his attention. “But obviously you didn’t not want to be here bad enough to succeed at whatever you were doing.”
Regulus frowned and squinted his eyes at Blake. “I don’t know why we need either one. Both are fucking useless. Neither will teach you anything that’ll prepare you for the real world.”
“Tell me more about the real world, Regulus. Because right now you just sound extremely pretentious.”
“You know very well that’s not how I meant it to sound, Blake.” He stated defensively. Then he gave her a look, “’Don’t let anyone give a shit’? Blake, I hate to start on my own self depricating rant but you are the only person who does.” With a shake of his head, he looked down, “I don’t think I understand what mood you are even talking about.”
“That’s real sad.” Blake shot back the reply quicker than she intended, almost as if she had already been anticipating an answer of that kind. “Your sisters give a shit about you. I’m sure some of your Slytherins give a shit about you.” Bitterness dripped in her tone, upset he’d say no one gave a shit. “We’re fucking gods Lore, but only if you believe it.”
Sturgis was always in the mood for a challenge. And when someone dared him to try to fly around the school in the fastest time past dark, well… He couldn’t very well say no, could he? Once he was done (In a matter of minutes), he landed swiftly to find someone waiting for him down on the ground. “I know, I know. How dumb of me to try that, knowing full well I could go on and get hurt, yeah? But it was brilliant. My best time ever. Next time you should come along.”
"Yeah, you’re right. That was really stupid.” Blake responded bluntly, not seeing the reasoning in humoring him. “But then again it’s just a stereotype that Ravenclaws treasure wit beyond measure, isn’t it? You’re lucky you’re good looking, Podmore. Let Flitwick find out you’re jeopardizing house points and possibly a game.”
He frowned, “I don’t understand how that would be your problem, Blake.” And then he leaned his head back and looked up to the sky, “I know you care but it’s my life. I won’t make any promises to you either.”
“You know, that’s like really mean Lorenz.” Blake murmured to the boy, feeling the blow to her ego land on it’s mark. “Fine, don’t let anyone give a shit.” For a moment she debated adding and fuck your promises, it’s not like I’d believe them but withheld. “What’s gotten you in such a mood--”
“Why the fuck do we need a frog choir when we don’t even have a drama club. This is a crime against artists everywhere. I ASSURE you, something is going to be done about this this year, or so help me--"
He smiled, “With your attitude I would believe it,” he smiled. “And you should feel lucky for not having sisters. I nearly got broken off the family willow tree, Lore said I joined You-Know-Who.” He tapped his arm, pulling the sleeve far up enough to show it barren. “I’m pure, but not that insane. Joining him would be a death wish to my family.”
It wasn’t until her friend mentioned you know who that her eyes snapped towards him. Blake was not a purist. It seemed atrocious to her but it also seemed like it wasn’t her problem. “Lorenz!” She snapped, giving him a concerned look. “Nor will you ever. You can’t.”
He hummed, explaining all to the person, who could stand to listen to him, what happened over summer. “Of course, my sisters were at each others throat again, not like they never are. Their wrecks, all four of them.” He stated with a slight scoff, “I envy people who aren’t related to us!” Then he stopped and looked at the other individual, “Enough about me. What did you do, if you don’t mind me prying?”
“At least you have sisters, Lorenz. You know what I would do for sisters?” Blake huffed, thinking of all the things she could achieve with sisters. Sisters had to love you, they couldn’t abandon you if you got too boring. “I got to visit New York with my father. I got to walk along broadway and oh if I wasn’t fucking born to be there.”

✧*:・゚✧ HISTORY ✧*:・゚✧
Blake Macmillan has never had to want for anything. While her family was nowhere near as rich as others, they were perfectly comfortable financially. If Blake wanted something, she’d work towards what she wanted to be rewarded with it.
Drama and theater is her LIFE. For five years now, Blake has been pestering Hogwarts to allow a theater club, but the lack of interest among the student body has kept progress from happening.
While Blake is able to see the privilege she has as a pureblood, she isn’t invested enough to do anything about it. To her, her energy is better spent in other areas. Her vanity blinds her from seeing the bigger issues in the world.
Blake is pansexual, even though she’s never had a real romantic relationship. She finds them to be too mundane.
Her cat Fredrick is thirteen years old, and been with her since his birth. He’s a russian blue with a terrible attitude towards anyone that isn’t her, or her dorm mates.
Friends are something that have always been difficult for her to keep. Meaningful relationships always fizzled out, and she knew part of it had to be her fault. She was difficult to be around for long periods of time.
Being a leo she always felt too much. Like her ego and pride was a thin wire that was always being tripped and she couldn’t help it even when she tried. The lengths she would go to to gain attention were at times questionable, but they worked.
