If they handed out money for each time you were oblivious to something, you’d never have to work a day in your life again.
Jungkook didn’t know if you were playing hard to get or that cute little head of yours really was filled with glitter.
He’d done all the textbook steps to try and impress you.
He’d drive you home, walk you to class, hug you extra tight when greeting you, compliment you whenever the chance was given (which was always cause you were gorgeous) even gave you a few of his hoodies so you’d only smell like him.
He was the perfect gentlemen, always knowing not to push your boundaries and make you uncomfortable but it was getting harder each time he’d shoot you a flirty smile only to get your innocent friendly one in return.
His patience was starting to wear thin. You hadn’t noticed it before but you were starting to catch the eye of other Alphas on campus.
Maybe it was the new exposure you’d gotten after he decided to join you at the hip. Not even Jungkook himself could deny that he was popular.
It had its perks sometimes, people were always willing to help him out and be his friend but they never felt genuine.
All his life he’d been chased after, complimented, been put on pedestal and fawned over. He could always see the lust in people eyes when they so much as greeted him, sub-genders of all sorts pushing out their pheromones making him feel disgusted with himself.
He knew it wasn’t his fault. He knew his family were no joke especially as he came from a long line of world famous painters. But he craved that unbiased genuine friendship and love since he was a child.
Jungkook was blessed the day he met Yugeom. He’d never made Jungkook’s status a factor in their friendship, he just honestly liked the Elite Alpha for who he was.
Yugeom was always there for him, helping him through thick and thin. Except for now.
It was a Friday night and the two were busy moving furniture into their new apartment near campus.
After he’d decided to court you, Jungkook became jealous easily. He never wanted to bring you to the Alpha dorms around all those other students eyeing you a little too much and he was weary of being in your little apartment knowing how unmated omegas needed their privacy as to not make them nervous with all sorts of scents in their homes.
So he did the most logical thing. He bought a very impressive apartment with the hopes that you’d hang out with him here often. He’d ignored Yugeom’s eye roll and scoff of ‘rich kids’ when Jungkook happily signed the estate papers.
“Don’t you think–“ Yugeom groaned as he waddled backwards trying to help his friend move in a fancy new couch with extra soft cushions that you would love into their spacious living room, “that maybe you’re going a little hard right now?”
Jungkook huffed a laugh and shook his head. “I don’t know what you’re talking about dude.”
Yugeom stopped walking, making the couch bump into Jungkook’s stomach with a grunt.
“Look, I know I can be too much sometimes but you bought a whole ass apartment just so you could talk to a girl that may I remind you, you haven’t even asked out yet.“
“You seem to have forgotten that you’ll be living here too Yug.”
“Besides the point, what’s next? You gonna buy out a hallway at school just so you and (y/n) can walk alone together?”
Jungkook snorted at Yugeom’s ridiculous accusations.
Yugeom set the couch down and threw his hands up in defeat before walking off, saying something about getting them something to drink.
Jungkook laughed and placed his hands on his hips, looking at his new home. He wasn’t down that bad, he thought he was just being a good friend and trying to make you comfortable with a new setting.
He could already imagine you sitting so cutely on the fluffy couch wrapped up in an equally soft blanket as you watched scary movies with him and huddled close.
He didn’t even realize how deep into his little domestic fantasy he was when a ring of his phone made him jump.
He steadied his beating heart and scrolled through his notifications seeing a text from Jackson Wang, one of the schools most popular elite alpha seniors and Yugeom’s soon-to-be pack mate.
He was throwing another of his many frat parties and was expecting Jungkook to tag along, even mentioning that he had personally invited you as well.
The boy’s blood ran cold, if there was anyone Jungkook didn’t want around you it was Jackson.
He wasn’t a bad guy, he was the complete opposite actually. He was kind, funny, smart, but that’s where the problem was.
Jackson could easily swoop you off your feet with how charismatic and practically perfect he was, and Jungkook was taking no chances.
He quickly dialed his friend, clenching his fist in irritation as he took his time answering.
Jungkook tried pursed his lips for a moment trying not to convey his irritation through his tone.
“You know (Y/n)?” He curtly asked.
If only he could see the wide smug smile Jackson had on the other side as he made himself comfy on his bed for the teasing he would undoubtedly torture his younger friend with.
“Yeah, seems like she knows me too.”
Jungkook’s jaw tightened and he took a breath. He’s your friend, he’s your friend.
“I don’t think it’s a good idea for (Y/n) to go.”
“Why the sudden opposition my dear boy?”
“Ah okay okay, but think about it. Maybe this is the opportunity you need to get things going.”
Jungkook blinked. How the hell did he know?
“How– did Yugeom tell you?”
“Nope, but you just did.”
And this is why he couldn’t stand talking to the older man more than he needed to.
“Whatever, I have to go.”
“Consider it! JK and (Y/n) sittin’ in a tree, K-I-S–“
Jungkook hung up quickly, worried Jackson would be able to somehow hear his heart beat thumping loudly in his ears.
He didn’t have to sit in shame much longer before another text came through, this time from Mark asking him to come to the campus library and escort you home since it was getting dark.
The boy wasted no time in rushing to grab his discarded jacket and keys, shooting Yugeom an apology text telling him he’d be home later.
Gaeun let out a shaky breath as she stared at her reflection in the school’s public bathroom.
Mascara stained tears ran down her cheeks, a few drops falling atop her white blouse ruining her otherwise pristine appearance.
She’d just gotten back from speaking with her Marketing Professor who told her she was lacking in her work, but she swore she was doing her best. She always went above and beyond in all of her assignments so it was a shock when the older man said she needed to do something to keep her grades up.
She would have hung her head and agreed if that’s where it ended. Never in a million years would she expect to be pressed against his wide desk with a hand placed too high upon her thigh, his cloudy eyes gleaming with something sinister that she’d never seen before.
Her body reacted faster than her fumbled thoughts as her hand connected with his cheek in a loud slap that echoed in the empty class room followed by her heels fleeing.
Now she stood trembling scared, alone, and confused in this dingy bathroom looking a mess.
What was she supposed to do? Who was she supposed to call?
With trembling hands she fished her cellphone from her purse and dialed Jangmi, her foot tapping anxiously as she waited for her best friend to pick up.
“Haha! Hey stop it! I’m on the phone stop!”
There was a chorus of laughter from Jangmi and a few other people on the other line indicating that she was in fact not alone.
“Jangmi! Where are you? Can we meet up?” Gaeun tried her very best to keep her trembling voice steady but it was easier said than done when her emotions were battling themselves in her head.
Jangmi paused for a moment, some movement heard on the line before she giggled again.
“Hm? Right now? I can’t! Remember that guy from the gym I was eyeing? Well I invited him to the mixer and he’s actually here! He’s such a dream Gaeun, I’ll call you later okay?”
“Wait Jangmi! I need you please!”
Gaeun stared wide eyed at her black phone screen, her stomach threatening to push up the remains of her lunch as the realization that she was truly alone crashed down on her.
With a loud curse she threw her phone across the room, her thin frame sliding down against the wall till she crumbled against the floor, tears starting to fall one by one.
She was always there for her friends, always a call away no matter what. Even if she knew their friendships were artificial, even if they had price tags on them, she refused to let the truth of her situation drive a knife through her heart.
She desperately craved something real, she was tired of being let down so she fought back against the world that struck her back just as hard.
The sound of the door creaking open snapped her out of her anguish, her shoulders tensing up as she saw your curious head peak out, staring confused at the shattered phone by your feet.
She thought she would be alone but luck was always against her, of all the people to see her in this way it just had to be you.
“Gaeun?” You called softly, concern thick in your usually timid tone as you took in her appearance.
“Go away!” She shouted, take her purse and throwing it at you, the bag hitting the wall beside you spilling its contents everywhere.
You were quick to dodge the attack, ducking by the door.
“Gaeun wait!” You called, holding your hands out in surrender.
“I said leave! Are you stupid?! GO. AWAY!” She hiccuped through her sobs, her anger blinding her and she reached for the closest things around her and began to throw them in your direction till she collapsed against the floor, her shoulders shaking with the forces of her cries as her emotions finally won.
You stood shocked, a hand pressed up against your nose to block the aggressive pheromones the alpha was pushing out to drive you away.
You gave her a moment to calm down a bit, heart feeling heavy as her sweet raspberry scent turned sour and rotten.
Her usually confident and cocky demeanor was but a ghost now compared to her broken vulnerable self who sat so defeated against the cold floor.
You carefully moved to pick up her purse, quietly picking her things up and placing them back inside, allowing her to let out her sobs before turning to the door and locking it not wanting to risk someone else seeing Gaeun in this state.
Bully or not it was plain as day that something was wrong and anyone deserved that respect.
You cautiously moved to sit beside the girl not too close as to scare her off and have her possibly hurt you, she was still an elite alpha at the end of the day which meant her strength out matched yours.
The pheromones she was releasing were meant to feel threatening, causing your omega to whine in distress trying to force your body to escape the room but you stubbornly stay put.
After what felt like forever Gaeun finally seemed to calm down a bit, her heavy sobs reduced to weak sniffles.
“You’re probably having a great time aren’t you?” Gaeun spat, wiping her sore eyes with the back of her sleeve. “Go ahead and laugh, tell everyone what you saw, I don’t care.”
You kept your eyes glued to your shoes as you thought of what to say.
“I’m not like you.” You said softly after a moment, eyes still pointed down. “I may not be the smartest person around but I can tell when something bad happened.”
Gaeun gritted her teeth at your words thinking you were trying to make of her. Before she could start to spout insults like she usually did you held out a small handmade handkerchief with a piece of peach candy on top.
She stared dumbly at your offer, eyes flicking from the cloth to your face which still looked away as if giving her privacy.
“You don’t have to talk about it, I know I’m the last person you want to see but I hope you can feel at ease at least with this.”
When she made no move to take it, you gently reached out and placed it into her cold hand, the alpha unknowingly releasing some tension in her shoulders as a sweet calming scent became to overpower her own sour one.
She quickly realized you were pushing out your own pheromones, taking advantage that your omega had the ability to calm even the most rowdy alpha.
Her slim fingers picked up the wrapped candy as you began to stand, cleaning up some more of the mess Gaeun had created when she tried to chase you out.
“Some sweetness to make the bitter go away.” You offered a small smile before picking up a maintenance sign on the wall and making your way to the door.
“I’ll put the cleaning sign outside so no one will come in.” You paused for a moment, worry clear in your gentle features. “Hope you feel better.”
Gaeun watched dumbfounded as you slipped out the door, your sweet scent beginning to fade and replace with the same rotten scent of her anguish.
She slowly opened the candy and pushed it between her lips, the sweetness distracting her for a moment as fresh tears rolled down her cheeks.
Your back pressed back against the door as soon as you were able to slip out, your hands trembling slightly as you willed yourself to calm down and take in deep breathes of fresh air.
You were surprised that you’d managed to stay in that small room with Gaeun for as long as you did, her pheromone’s were no joke, you felt like a rabbit trapped in a cage with a lion.
Thankfully you accidentally wore one of Jungkook’s comically large black hoodies to class today, his faint scent bringing you a sense of comfort only he seemed to give you.
You pressed the fabric that swallowed your hand to your nose and let your eyes slip as delicate rain and lilacs soothed the storm of nerves in your head.
You kept true to your promise and flipped the maintenance sign outside the door for the distressed girl before making your way to the library to print out a ten page paper you’d lost sleep over the previous week, but now it was done and you could sleep till graduation.
Try as you might you couldn’t shake off the nasty feeling of what could have made Gaeun so upset.
You’d seen that look too many times in the mirror, the fear and disbelief that something or someone hurt you. If only you could investigate the problem and make her feel better but she very clearly made it known that there was no chance you’d be friends given your very vague history as classmates.
Your omega whined as her protective instincts tried to get you to turn around and comfort the distressed Alpha but you hushed her and scurried your way into the half empty library until you finally reached the printers.
Now you weren’t the best with technology but the fact that you couldn’t work a printer most of the time was something you’d take to the grave.
“Come on you stupid little–“
You cursed the machine as an error symbol continued to mock you despite your best attempts at pressing every button, even going as far as to google the model and a tutorial but it was fruitless.
You whipped around at the gentle voice that belonged to none other than Mark Tuan, a very popular senior and Yugeom’s soon to be pack mate.
You’d heard stories about Mark, mainly hushed whispers from girls in your class exchanging dreamy sighs of how handsome and gentle he is, a picture perfect omega. Despite how popular and close he was to Yugeom you’d never gotten the chance to meet him in person but it was your lucky day.
“Uhh, y-yeah this thing is giving me a hard time.” You huffed out an embarrassed laugh as you stepped out of the way to make room for Mark to set his books aside and examine the machine.
“Oh I see the problem.” He hummed, lifting some flap you didn’t see before. “It’s low on paper.”
You felt your cheeks flush hot in shame at the obvious answer, another awkward laugh leaving your frame.
“Oh really? Of course it is, wow it’s- it’s been a long week.” You winced as Mark gave you a soft smile, his eyes creasing making him look like a child.
“It happens to the best of us.” He chuckled before reaching under the machine to pull out a pack of paper and refill it. After a few beats of silence the printer began to smoothly print out your assignment with ease making you roll your eyes.
“It was messing with me on purpose.” You sighed before turning back to Mark with a shy smile. “Thank you so much, I wouldn’t have been able to figure it out. I didn’t grow up around technology that much.” You confessed, the shameful feeling making a pit in your stomach.
You’d half expected Mark to laugh at you, ask if you were an idiot but he just nodded and kept that same kind smile on even going as far as releasing comforting pheromones. The calming scent of fresh pears and rosemary surrounded you, putting your insecurities to ease even for a moment.
“I totally understand, it took me a whole year to learn how to work those fancy calculators, shouldn’t pressing buttons be straight to the point?”
You were quick to nod and return your own smile. “Oh! I’m (y/n) by the way!” You held your hand out which Mark was quick to shake in his delicate one.
“Ah so you’re the famous (Y/n) I’ve heard so much about?” The tilt of your head and wide curious eyes made another chuckle escape his lips. “I’m Mark Tuan, Jungkook talks about you a lot. But don’t tell him I said that.” He put a finger up to his lips in a Shh manner and shot you a playful wink.
Your faced flushed again as Mark’s words sunk in. “Jungkook talks about me?”
Before the older Omega could respond the strong scent of spiced apples and cinnamon filled the small space almost suffocating your poor omega.
“There you are babe, I tried calling you.”
A man with perfectly styled raven hair and a face that looked as if it had been sculpted by God herself stood tall in a long designer coat and gold rimmed glasses perched upon his flawless nose.
One tiny sniff of his intense scent was enough to tell you this man was an Elite Alpha, and a very intimidating one as he slipped his arm around Mark’s slim waist and turned his gaze on you, making you unconsciously fiddle with your fingers.
“Oh I’m sorry Jinyoung, I left it on silent.” Mark apologized as he snuggled into his Alpha. “I was helping out Geomie and Kookie’s friend out, you know (Y/n)? (Y/n) this is Jinyoung, one of my mates.”
The stranger, Jinyoung, gave you a once over before a soft smile broke his otherwise stone expression.
“It’s a pleasure,” Jinyoung politely shook your hand before leaning in a bit and sniffing the air around you making you look up at him with wide eyes. Did you smell bad?
“I thought I smelled JK around here. The kid works fast I see.” He smirked pointing out your black hoodie.
A hot flash of embarrassment shook your body once again as you looked like a gaping fish, trying to form words as you flapped your arms around.
“I-I just borrowed this! We aren’t together or anything like that!” You said a little too loudly earning an annoyed Shh from somewhere in the room.
Jinyoung turned and gave an apology before turning back to you with a smile. “I see I apologize, just having a little fun.”
Mark playfully rolled his eyes as he pulled out his phone to shoot a quick text. “He’s always joking around, sorry that his humor is so bad.”
Although embarrassed you managed a smile and shook your head, still feeling intimidated that two such popular people were giving you the time of day.
“The library is closing soon, have your papers finished printing?” Mark questioned looking over at the machine.
You quickly moved to check, a sigh of relief leaving you as each page was perfectly in order.
You filed them neatly and placed them away just as Jinyoung went to take Mark’s books for him. “Are you headed home after this? We’ll walk you out.” The omega smiled down at you as you three made your way out of the stone building.
“You didn’t have to help me out, thanks again.” You smiled politely as you three stood out in the chilly courtyard.
Before Mark could reply, Jinyoung pointed behind you making you turn with a confused hum. “Damn, he really does work fast.”
Your eyes widened as a very determined Jungkook half sprinted his way to the three of you, his chest raising up and down quickly just further proving how fast he made his way over. “Cherry!” He called as he finally reached you and squished you against his hard chest.
“What happened? Some guy tried was annoying you?” He growled, the noise rumbling through his chest making you weak at the knees as you tried to process what was happening, why Jungkook was even here.
“A guy? What?” You mumbled weakly pushing yourself away from the boys addictive heat.
“Mark said some asshole was hitting on you and making you uncomfortable, are you okay? What did he look like?” Jungkook cupped your cheeks as his brows furrowed angrily.
You stood in shock, your poor little brain trying to catch up to what was happening while your omega was having a field trip with all the attention from the concerned alpha.
A chorus of laughter rang out behind you, Jungkook’s eyes snapping up before he let out a frustrated sigh.
“You guys are jerks.” He mumbled, hands still cupping your squishy cheeks.
“Sorry kid, I just wanted you to show up faster and what better than a little lie. You understand right?” Mark giggled as he held his stomach in pain.
You shyly cupped your hands over Jungkook’s as he bickered with an amused Mark and Jinyoung who took every chance to tease him.
“You can let me go now.” You muttered fearing that the Alpha could feel the heat spreading across your cheeks.
Jungkook quickly released you but made no effort to move out of your personal bubble, even as you turned back to face the other two men.
Mark softened at your question, “Yeah it’s getting dark and I definitely don’t want you to go home by yourself, especially with that.” He pointed to his own neck but kept his eyes trained on your wellness collar.
You didn’t detect any malice from the other omega, only genuine concern and understanding.
“You’re right, thank you again for everything.”
The air was soft and light with your mixed scents of happiness making the two Alphas hearts melt at the sweet interaction between omegas.
“I’ll drive you home cherry, let’s go before it gets darker. Thanks again Mark, Jinyoung. Even though it was kinda cruel.” He huffed his cheeks making you fight the urge to squish them.
“Get home safe you two! Don’t flirt too long!” Jinyoung sang as he wrapped his arm around Mark’s shoulder and led him away before Jungkook could bark insults at him.
You couldn’t help but laugh at Jungkook’s pouty face that made him look entirely like a big bunny. “Aw come on Kookie, it’s just a silly little prank. But they’re right you did get here pretty quickly. I hope you weren’t busy?”
Jungkook shook his head quickly, his scent going from annoyed to calming in the blink of an eye.
“No I wasn’t busy at all! I’m more than happy to help you out, trust me.” He reassured you as he led you to the parking lot where his sleek black Mercedes-Maybach was parked in a noticeably crooked fashion. “Plus I’ve been meaning to ask you something so this is perfect timing.”
The boy ran ahead quick to open the passenger side door and help you inside like a true gentleman, even taking your bag and placing it in the back seat for you to sit comfortably.
You willed your heart to stop skipping beats as the delicious smelling Alpha got in and pulled out of the lot with ease, the sleeves of his hoodie pushed up his toned arms allowing you the honor of seeing the veins in his hand flex as he gripped the steering wheel.
“Thank you Jungkook.” You mumbled, for whatever reason falling into the safe head space that only Jungkook seemed to offer you.
“For what?” He hummed, eyes trained on the road but his free hand gravitated to rest on your knee making you unconsciously clench your thighs trying to keep your arousal at bay.
“For everything. For taking me home, talking to me all the time. Introducing me to your friends, you know just- just for everything you do. You don’t have any reason for being so nice to me and yet you’ve been the greatest friend I’ve had since I’ve moved here.”
You’d been so deep in your little monologue that you’d failed to notice you both had already arrived in front of your dingy apartment building.
Jungkook took off his seatbelt and turned in his seat to face you, a frown pulled on his lips making you worry you’d said something to make him uncomfortable.
Before you could apologize the Alpha took the hand that was on your knee and slipped it into your smaller one, giving it a reassuring squeeze. “You shouldn’t be thanking me, if anything I should apologize to you for not speaking to you sooner.”
“But I’m just me and you’re well you know- you.”
Jungkook couldn’t help but chuckle at your words. “Care to elaborate?”
You opened your mouth to reply only to shut it just as quickly, your mind running too quickly for you to form any words that wouldn’t embarrass you in front of your crush.
“You… crinkle your nose when you’re thinking hard about something, you love eating ice cream even on the coldest days, you’re super smart and like to analyze even the smallest of things but you pretend like you don’t in front of our classmates. You help old people carry their groceries to their cars and fix broken toys for kids, you’re a saint.”
Jungkook blinked at you with wide eyes as you spoke about him so gently, a soft smile gracing your lips almost forgetting he was even there.
His heart thumped loudly in his chest the more you praised him. He felt bad for even thinking for a moment that you’d only compliment his looks or his status like many others did but that just showed how different you truly were.
You always saw him for the person he is, not for his vanity. If only you could see just how perfect you were in his eyes as well. He wouldn’t say he was in love but his heart had grown to adore all your little quirks since the day he’d met you.
You’d stopped talking, taking in a sharp breathe as you remembered what you were even doing. The car was slowly filling with your and Jungkook’s combined scents, rain and old books making a perfect harmony as you sat staring into each others eyes as if searching for the answer to all the questions that hung heavy and unspoken between you.
If you tried to remember who moved in first you’d be lost as those dark chocolate brown eyes pulled you in further and further until you needed to come up for air.
Jungkook seemed almost entranced as his hot breath fanned across your cheeks, his lips just a whisper away from your own, eyes darting to look at your delicious looking lips for a split second as if daring you to make the first move.
It was the same look he’d given you that night he slept over, a look of hunger dulled down with a mix of tenderness that had your heart pounding so loud in your ears you wondered if he could hear it as well.
Every sign was pointing in the same direction, if he wanted you just as bad then you’d take it, let yourself be selfish have something so beautifully up for the taking, you just prayed this wasn’t a cruel prank like the many others you’ve endured.
As soon as you moved in, Jungkook moved back much to your horror.
You both stared at each other, the color draining from his face as he realized what he’d done. Your heart dropped into your stomach forming a nasty pit as shame riddled you.
“I- oh my god- I’m so sorry-“ you stammered, you felt hot tears prick in your eyes as you rushed to pick up your bag and jump out of the car as quickly as possible, the voice in your head laughing at how stupid you were. You’d ruined something so great because you thought you were worthy enough and now you looked like a complete fool.
“Shit, (Y/n) wait!” Jungkook cursed as he jumped out as well as chased you into the building, managing to catch your wrist before you got into the elevator.
“(Y/n) please look at me, you didn’t do anything wrong I promise you. Baby please.” He begged once he got you to turn, his hands gently cupping your tear stained cheeks.
Jungkook felt his heart shatter into a million pieces when you finally looked up, your eyes red and glossy and your shoulders shaking slightly as you tried so hard to conceal your sobs.
Your usual calming scent was no replaced with bitter coffee further sending his already distressed Alpha into overdrive trying hard to push out calming pheromones to sooth your Omega.
“I messed up, I’m sorry. I thought you wanted to- never mind please let me go.” You hiccuped, pushing his hands away as turned to leave again but the boy wasn’t going to give up so easily.
Jungkook moved fast, turning you around as one of his arms slipped around your waist holding you flush against his chest as the other cupped your right cheek bringing you up until you felt his soft lips press against your own trembling ones.
Although his arms were holding you so possessively, almost as if too scared you’d slip through his fingers, his kiss was the most gentle you’d ever experienced.
Jungkook tried to portray all the affection he had for you without overwhelming you as he slowly moved his lips against your still stunned ones. Your mind was trying to keep up, your muscles were pulled taunt until finally you allowed your eyes to slip shut and your arms to reach up and wrap around the raven haired boys neck.
You felt Jungkook’s shoulders relax and a smile press against your own as you began to kiss him back, the feeling making you dizzy.
After what felt like forever you both pulled away, your foreheads touching as you let out a shaky sigh, too scared to open your eyes as if everything was an illusion.
“You didn’t do anything wrong.” Jungkook repeated, his arms tightening around your waist. “I’ve been wanting to kiss you for the longest time. I just wasn’t sure you wanted it too.”
You looked up, clearly confused but he cut you off with a quick peck before continuing.
“I don’t want to hear you say you’re not good enough for me because that’s bullshit. You’re one of the only people to ever treat me like a human. I feel like I can be myself around you, everything about you is so addictive. No matter what I do, how hard I try to, I can’t get you out of my mind. You fill my thoughts, you’re all I talk about. Everyone teases me and says I’m in deep, well I am. You’re worth everything in the world, I can’t let anyone else take you.”
His words caused fresh tears to spill down your cheeks as you looked deep into his eyes trying to find any sign to deception but all you saw was intense passion, so rare it made your knees weak.
“I didn’t want to ask you like this, but I can’t let his moment go.” He pressed, stepping back so he could hold both your hands in his own.
“(L/n) (Y/n), will you give me the greatest honor of taking you out? I promise I will be the greatest gentleman, I won’t do anything that makes you uncomfortable. Unless you don’t want to, I don’t want to pressure you at all but-“
You couldn’t help but laugh through your tears as you rushed in, this time cupping his cheeks and pressing another kiss to shut his rambling up, his hands falling to rest on your hips.
“It would make me the happiest girl in the world to go out with you Jeon Jungkook.” You gave him a dashing smile, setting his cheeks aflame before he quickly wrapped his arms around you in a bone crushing hug and spun you around as your laughs echoed in the empty hallway.
“I swear you won’t regret it! Holy shit I can’t believe it!” He cheered loudly as you squirmed against him with a strained giggle.
“You’re going to crush me before we can even go on our first date!” You huffed making the boy release you quickly.
“Oh I’m sorry baby-“ he paused as he realized what he’d called you before a dopey smile pulled his lips up, making him suddenly feel bashful.
“Don’t look at me like that, it’s already hard to look at your handsome face.” You playfully jabbed at him, looking away as you began to play with your hands.
“Aw, but now this handsome face is all yours! Come here!” He pounced on you once again, showering your tear stained face with loud kisses throwing you into another fit of giggles as you pretended to fight against him.
“Do you want to come upstairs?”
“Yeah, we have a lot to talk about.”
