Radical feminism is going to fail if we can’t be normal about lesbians or treat the trans issue with some compassion and fairness
Honestly… yeah. And specifically about the trans issue. We have to realize there are genuine good people who have pronouns because it's the dominant LGBTQ ideology. Maybe they've got a lot going on in their lives. Maybe they don't have time or energy to think critically about the dominant LGBTQ ideology. They know they're gay or bi, read a few things online, and suddenly they have pronouns. A lot of online resources say "if you don't identify with masculinity or femininity, you're probably nonbinary." Some people are just looking for basic gay community and support. They come across one of those extreme statements about gender and go "sure I guess."
So, let's spread awareness about how gender ideology is a postmodern neoliberal capitalist project. We need to highlight how the globalization of gender ideology has colonized LGB movements internationally. We need to keep talking about this stuff so there are more perspectives for people to stumble across. But we have to be fair and compassionate to all the people in the middle. And right now, a lot of people in the middle have pronouns.
