Having been in law-enforcement for half a decade, most of this in my area actually makes sense to me. However, I do see some serious overreach going on here.

What blows me away is seeing so much of this technology implemented in areas that are not known to be high in crime. The worst areas in my community largely seem to be no man’s land with regard to surveillance tech. It’s almost as if catching criminals is not the goal.
