A part of me believes that Valentino's smoke has some effect on Alastor.
He startles every time he gets near it.
Perhaps it doesn't affect him in a sexual way but definitely makes him feel something he's uncomfortable with.
Then the scene when Vox blows the smoke into his face Alastor does more than flinch, he moves his entire body to get away from it. While unable to keep his eyes off Vox in that moment.

Facts-Valentino is immune to Vox's hypnosis.
Is Vox immune to Valentino's Saliva/Smoke?
What 'exactly' are the effects of Valentino's smoke?
Fact-Alastor avoids Valentino and startles when around his smoke.
Is Alastor affected by Valentino's smoke?
If yes, then in what way besides the obvious?
If Alastor is affected by Val's smoke why isn't Vox?
During the events before this scene, Vox uses Val's cigarette for himself and isn't affected by it.
He got dressed then sang with Alastor.
Unless they are both immune to it, Vox and Alastor, why is Alastor avoidant of the smoke?
