    ☀ He nods and leans back a little before smiling just a bit. “Well, thanks. I don’t       really have anything for you though. I wasn’t expecting anyone over today,”       he said quietly. Things were awkward, to say the least. He wasn’t quite sure what       to say. What should they even talk about?

Raven shook her head and let out a small chuckle, a hand going up to cover the somewhat sweet and adorable look on her face.  “No no it’s quite alright... I wasn’t expecting anything but I’ve been wanting to give that to you for a while in all honesty.” She walked over to the framed photos on the wall and around the living room, staring at the sweet family photos of Tai, Summer, Yang and Ruby.

She clutched her fist, hating the weakness she was showing but needing to get it off her chest. “I actually wanted to come over too because I have something I’ve been needing to tell you.” Raven looked over her shoulder back at the male who was just leaning against the couch. “Our last time talking did not go well and I see that I was being irrational. So I wanted to tell you I apoligize, not only for our last meeting but for leaving years ago.”

I’ve been gardening too.” He set the       dreamcatcher aside before moving a little closer to her. “Have you been       safe? You’re okay?”

She looked at Tai, hating how his blue eyes made her weak and melt upon eye contact. “I’ve been well... I’ve been traveling on my own recently so it’s been quiet. I remembered how special this day would be to you though and I wanted to give you your gift.” It had been something Raven had for a while but she was too wary to come for a while. Valentine’s was just an excuse to help build up her confidence a bit.

Raven nodded at the request, lowering her arms to the side and staring at her feet as she walking into the house she use to call her home. “Thank you...” She glanced around and noticed not much had changed, a small twinge of pain in her heart from remembering the happy moments they had together. “What have you been up to lately?” Raven glanced back at the blond, trying to break the tension between them, knowing that getting on better terms would benefit them as well as everyone around them. She stood in the middle of the living room not quite sure what to do with herself.

Raven froze in place with the woman wrapped around her, a twinge of worry shooting through her body. “I could what...?” While Raven wasn’t against killing others, mainly whenever she was with the tribe, the people had to earn it in some form or fashion. Raven couldn’t think of hurting a hair on Summer, and so killing would only be twenty times more difficult for the older woman.

“Summer something doesn’t seem right about you... Did you get hit on the head, briar?” Two hands came up to hold Summer’s face, a thumb brushing over Summer’s forehead to see if she could feel any bumps.

“Vultures? There are no vultures in this area though... I hate to tell you that I’m suspicious but I’m suspicious Summer. If you managed to put a target on our backs I’d like to know immediately in order to prepare for any sudden attacks.” She ruffled the short hair deciding to pick her up and stare into those silver eyes for some sort of deeper understanding of what felt wrong.

When in their booth winter leaned on her palm, proped up by her elbow, chugging down her water, not realizing how dehydrated she was. She couldn’t help but smile how willing raven was to actually speak with her. “you first, Qrow spoke about you- but i want to hear what you rather i hear about you as apposed to what Qrow complained about” she half joked a bit more relaxed than she would have been any other situation. 

Raven was downing the water as well, the both truly beginning to realize just how fucked they had gotten from last night. She tucked her hair behind her ear and just watched the movements of the elegant queen in front of her. “My brother probably shit talked me while you were dating, huh? We haven’t gotten along for a while so honestly, I wouldn’t be surprised. Several years ago we got adopted by some family, we were happy and practically joined at the hip. But uh I kinda didn't like the shit they were pulling as we were older so I ran off without telling Qrow."

She didn’t want to think to hard about it at the moment. She had already deemed herself unlovable after her falling out with Qrow, and had long accepted marriage was never an option with the two of them. yet here she was, married to his sister after some crazy night in a casino obsessed city. she patted around the area for her purse finding her wallet and filing through her belongings thankful she still had her cards with her. “breakfast on me” she said as they readied to leave the chapel inn, tying up her hair in a bun messily not worried about being proper. The walk to the parking lot was short, she tried to remember if she had a rental car with her. She spotted the black vehicle, a bit of damage on the bumper “do you want to drive, or should we just shamelessly walk to that diner over their?” she asked a bit tense as everything was slowly setting in.

“Honestly with how fucked up we are right now I say a walk would be best.” She didn’t realize the arm that had naturally wrapped around Winter’s waist to pull her away from the car and towards the diner. “This will give us some time to actually get to know one another because I only one you as my brother’s ex and you only know me as your ex’s twin sibling.”

Raven didn’t want to admit but the female wasn’t a sight for sore eyes and was pretty damn great in bed from what she could remember last night. This whole marriage thing didn’t seem all too bad but Raven was still wary from all the warnings her brother grave. Was Winter really that much of a hardass when they fucking met and got smashed and married in a night? Was she really that much of a bitch when she was offered to buy them breakfast? She didn’t seem all too horrible in Raven’s eyes thus far.

They walked their way into the diner and seated themselves, quickly placing their drink orders before Raven was the one to speak up. “You want to know about me first or do you want to tell me about yourself?
