Battle Royale Mission

Hey Guys! A new poll is up on Noisecreep and Blessthefall is now in the running with their new music video for "Hollow Bodies" in their Battle Royale. So, we'll need your help to vote and make Hollow Bodies climb the charts! You can vote for Blessthefall once per hour, so please visit the poll once per hour as many times as you can though the day. Be sure to leave a comment on the page letting everyone know why you think the video deserves a spot in the top 10 countdown, too!

  Mission Details

Battle Royale: -Head on over to Noisecreep's Battle Royale voting poll - right side of page for desktop users, bottom of page for mobile users. Vote for Blessthefall's  "Hollow Bodies" music video

-Send 2 screenshots (1 selecting Blessthefall, & 1 of the thank you screen) HOURLY to  [email protected] using subject line "Battle Royale" to get credit for voting. There's no need to paste them into a word doc or create a pdf for this mission. Please do not send screenshots anywhere else for this voting mission.   

 -Optional: After you vote the first time, share the voting link on Facebook and/ or twitter and encourage your friends to give Blessthefall a vote! Tag the band in your post and send your screenshot(s) along with your first voting screenshots to get an extra entry to win a prize. You're also welcome to make your own graphics to encourage voting.

Hey Team!

It’s that time of year again to vote for your favorite musicians & moments in the AP Readers Poll 2013! Its been a great year for blessthefall with a new album and awesome tours! We want to make sure their hard work is recognized by pulling some wins! Please take a moment to vote for blessthefall (and other Fearless Records artist) in as many categories and let Alternative Press know why they deserve to win. 

When voting, please be genuine. You want your submission to standout and used in the magazine.. if you’re quoted you will get an extra prize! Some artist to consider in addition to BTF: The Summer Set, Chunk! No, Captain Chunk!, Forever The Sickest Kids, Tonight Alive, Mayday Parade, Get Scared, Pierce The Veil, Motionless In White all had a release this year and have worked very hard! If you’re a fan of these artist, or any other Fearless Records’ artist feel free to vote for them where you feel appropriate.   

Read though the voting mission and vote for blessthefall in all seven of the categories listed below in the mission details. You can vote for any of the other Fearless Artists in other categories not listed in the mission details if you’d like. 

Due Date: December 16th

Prize: Your choice of - Fearless Records poster pack, Fearless Records drawstring bag, Fearless Records accessory pack, or a copy of Punk Goes Christmas. When sending in your mission please indicate your prize of choice & mailing address. This will ensure you’re getting a prize before the holidays.

BTF/ABR Tour Sign Up

Hey Guys! BTF’s tour with August Burns Red has just kicked off! Check out this new mission to see how you can help promote the guys in your city this Fall. As always feel free to email me at [email protected] if you have any questions or need help with something! :) (Also, If you haven't signed up for the team already please shoot me an email for an application BEFORE signing up for the tour) Please read over the mission carefully and only sign up if you’re 100% sure you can complete the tasks. Signing up and failing to complete the mission properly might hinder your chances of being able to sign up for future tours and street promo. Dates are given on a first come, first serve basis. You will be sent a confirmation email if you are chosen.

Note : unfortunately we are unable to provide a guestlist spot for this tour, so you will need to purchase your own ticket.

Prize : For completing this mission you’ll receive a BTF Prize pack! (CD, Poster + a sticker!)

  Pre-Show Promo: IMPORTANT: Make sure you submit your pre-show report no later than one week prior to your show, and your post show report no later than a week after your show. Failure to do so will result in a possible restrictions from receiving promo in the future. Let us know if you encounter any issues.

Facebook

· RSVP to your date for tour on Facebook under blessthefall’s tour dates, invite at least 10 of your friends that are concert-goers or avid music listeners. (2 screenshots, one of the event saying you are “attending” on your wall, and the other of you inviting your friends - please note the invite button will be found on your wall under the event-)

· A few days before the show update your facebook status saying how excited you are to see BTF live. Make sure to tag the event, BTF & ABR, and use the hashtag #HollowBodies. Please also include a link to your favourite song off of ‘Hollow Bodies’ from Fearless’ Youtube account (1 Screenshot. ·Post your favorite live photo of BTF, and share a quick blurb about your most memorable moment at one of their shows. Don’t worry if you haven’t seen them live, you can also share your favorite part from one of BTF’s tour videos. In the post please mention how excited you are to see the guys this time around and include the date, time & venue along with a link to tickets. Tag the post with “blessthefall” “BTF” “fearless records” and anything else you feel is relevant that will attract more people to your post (the other bands on the tour, the city the tour is going to, the band members ect) (1 screenshot)

Instagram ·Post the tour poster in Instagram, and mention how excited you are for BTF to play in your town.  Include the date, time & venue, and use the hashtags #btf #blessthefall #fearlessrecords  & your city (1 screenshot)

Street Promo

·One poster MUST be hung up at the venue prior to the show, make sure to write the date and time on the poster. (2 photos, one close up so I can see what was written on the poster, and the other of the poster with the surrounding area included.) -The other 4 posters should be placed at places such as Hot Topic, DTox, record stores, FYE, HMV, your school ect. Make sure to write in the date, time, venue, and other bands playing. (8 photos total, 2 pictures of each poster put up. One picture must be close up so I can see what was written on it, and the other must show the poster and its surrounding area)

*Bad places to hang posters : Wal-Mart, Gas Stations, Fast Food Places ect.

*Call the venue to make sure they will allow putting up posters on the day of. If they will not, email me so we can figure something else out

IMPORTANT: Please space out posts on the same social sites. The point is to have the most friends/ followers see your posts without it appearing as spam For promoting during the show:

-When you get to the venue you must check in with someone in blessthefall band or crew. Your first priority should be checking in with the Tour Manager, if he is not available look for a band member. Your last option should be their merch person. The point of checking in with the band is to let them know you're there promoting, to offer extra help, and to meet your favorite band! You can always ask them for extra posters to hang or extra stickers to pass out! After you check in, have them SIGN your email list. (1 picture of the signature in your post-show report.)

-The next task to do at the venue is hang up posters as soon as you get in the venue. Take two pictures for every poster, one zoomed in show what is written and one zoomed out to show where it is. We need you to include a caption / description with every picture you send as well. Five posters should be hung up in the venue. (10 photos – 1 zoomed in & 1 zoomed out of each)

-Snipes (plain looking posters) should be put up in blocks of four so that it makes a square. These are to be used only at the show. (2 photos - one for each block zoomed out)

-The stickers should be passed out to fans at the show. If the venue allows stickers to be placed on the walls and such, no more than 3 of the stickers should be used for that. (5 photos of stickers being passed out / or 4 photos of stickers being passed out along with one where stickers were placed in the venue)

-Gather at least 20 emails on your sign-up sheet. (Turn in a typed up list of email addresses in an excel spread sheet)

-During BTF’s set, take a live photo of them performing and Instagram, Twitpic, Facebook share. Make sure to tag the band and hash tag anything pertaining to the picture (i.e. song title etc) and mention how great it is seeing the band perform live. (Minimum 1 screenshot included in your post-show report)

blessthefall Halloween Mission!

Hey Guys! Halloween is just around the corner, and what better way to celebrate than to spread some BTF cheer ;) You can do anything from BTF inspired pumpkins, dressing up as Hollow Bodies (Yes, we’ve seen it been done!!), Halloween treats for your friends with something BTF related on it (cupcakes ect) or even decorate the outside of your house with something BTF related! Make sure if you are decorating outside of your house you incorporate the nearest BTF tour date.
